I have said this before and am saying it again.
You can't successfully play other strokes without getting a grip on single strokes. This is because, single strokes is the fundamental for all rudiments you can think off.
So practicing single strokes is a way to expand your drumming skills as it is very wide.
In this lesson I demonstrated 6 strokes triplet and you can apply it on funk groove.
