Beautifully even tickover, good work.
Thank you very much! Check out the new Guzzi Ambassador video I just posted. Have another interesting one I just got back on the road.
I think it's great that you could do your own work. I have always wanted a M.G. but we don't see many around Tennessee. It's a good looking bike. You did a good job.
You can too! Give it a shot. Guzzis are very easy to work on. Extremely simple motors and bikes.
Worth the effort its a lovely bike.
I agree, love these.
great bike !
Thanks!
Excellent - SAVED from a Cycle Garden makeover! Great bikes, got a couple - including an Ambassador, still with the original generator, never had the bottom end apart - enjoy!
Right on! Great bikes.
Moto guzzi motorcycles are very beautiful. I'm writing this as the owner of a modern Moto guzzi V9. I have a lot of fun riding this motorcycle and it is not a trivial motorcycle.
Right on! I agree, I love them. I currently have a 2012 Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX 1200.
This is the loop frame model that i want to get hold of to compliment my modern 1000S. One day hopefully!
I hope you find one! They are awesome.
Excellent. Love the patina.
Thank you!
Congratulations on refurbishment of a fine motorcycle
Thank you!
Well done mate.
Thanks!
Very nice! I just bought same model/year in similar condition i.e. a runner but long neglected. Similar cosmetic patina ;-) Have rebuilt carbs and eventually plan to do similar rebuild as you!
Very nice! hope you get it going soon!
Wauw...! I want one now!
Find one! Great bikes.
The shifter return spring upgrade is interesting - I've broken two of the 4 speed ones and have to centre the shifter with my foot at every change - annoying but liveable. I'll ask around about the 5 speed spring though as the replacement 4 speed one only lasted a year or so.
Yup it makes a difference!
It looks great, recommissioned rather than restored and exactly what I would have done, if lucky enough to own it. A credit to your skills and just unfortunate that I am in the UK or I would be interested in buying! Good luck Paul
Thanks! It was a great bike. Already regret selling it, but I've moved on to rebuilding an old 77 Triumph T140V.
@@OctaneElectrons now I have one of those, same year, but still like the Guzzi.
@@classicrider5274 right on! I'm keeping the Triumph, but I'll find another Guzzi too.
Have recently got a 71 also. Needs to be gone through as you have done. Where did you go to for parts
Right on, great bikes. www.mgcycle.com and www.harpermoto.com have everything you should need.
Nice one! Where did you buy the new parts? Thanks...
mgcycle.com and Harpers Moto Guzzi!
Can you tell me who you sourced your parts through?
mgcycle and harpers!
Where did you purchase the solo seat? Brand?
It was from a ~2004 Royal Enfield Bullet 500.
Hi there, will be very thankful if you can provide the places where to buy parts and accessories for this motorcycle
mgcycle.com and Harpers Moto Guzzi!
8 months on what's the status?
Rode it a lot last fall, sold it, and moved on to the next project!
Wat was the price for this Guzzi?
I think I sold it for $6k.
Good price. I would buy it for that orice
