Good luck to all the inhabitants of Australia who participate. Switzerland doesn't cut it this time 🙂!
Or uk
Or US
At least gives Aussies us some chance of winning. 😊
Have you cloned yourself? How you manage a full time job, wife, build 3 cars film and edit videos is nuts.
To be fair, Jeff is a fireman, and they have long shifts and then long breaks. Every firey I’ve ever known has had a second gig or a business.
@@davidburne9477 yeah it still boggles my lazy mind.
Little known secret is that Mrs Jeff is a master mechanic
Multiplicity style
Work ethic.
How does this guy not have more subscribers!!!!! One of the best car channels out there. Fully relatable, down to earth content and so nice seeing someone being themselves!!
Keep it up!
Awesome stuff Jeff! Looking forward to seeing you English wheel the new roof! 😎✌️
I am looking forward to the challenge :D
I love the enthusiasm for every problem 😂. And yes a very nice rear 😂
Some very impressive panel work there Jeff. Love how you didn't panic when the passenger side didn't fit at all. The reality of replacement panels for ancient vehicles. Nice one!
Thanks Jeff.
Always great work.
You attention to detail is amazing you wont even see that work when the bed goes on great job.
You're getting really good at metal working!
You know I scratch my head at times and wonder why Jeff picks these pieces of rusty junk. And then he does stuff like this and impresses us all. What a great job. This is going to be one cool hauler. Cheers from Louisiana.
I enjoy the challenge of rust repairs too - they're strangely therapeutic 🤷♀
Love watching you work out the metal work. Great skills!
When I was little I waited for the daily cartoons, now I wait for weekly Jeff video
Great progress! Looking forward to following your journey further on with your cars and learning more from your experience 👍 I’m often telling myself “If it is worth doing twice it’s worth doing twice” when I work on my 996 C2😉 Thanks 👌 Greetings from Norway 👏
Very nice work. I was thinking I would have hammer/dollied the grooves into the edge of the repair panel. Your solution is MUCH better. Good stuff.
G'day Mr Jeff,
A very good episode. Any welding info is always going to be of help with my restoration work.
Owe and in entered into the competition. It's a great way that your sponsor can help out us DIY guys.
✌️ Peace from Melbourne/Pakenham 3810.
Great progress!
Thanks mate. It is not fast but we are getting there :D
Now it looks like paint job is necessary:)
Coming along nicely. That welder would have been handy for my Mini, as I’m in the UK I’ll have to wait for you to pop over and fix it 😉
Although I don't really understand why one corner showed such a deviation, you made it very nice again, really custom work, very nice to look at 🙂👍🏻
Great job! Even arguing with press brake!
Algorithm needs input to continue, here we go!
Cheers Jeff and Mrs. 👍💪✌
I love your energy and enthusiasm!!!!
Looks fantastic. You're bringing that old rusty truck cab back to life.
Jeff, loved it when you said 'Liiika Galove'. Keep up the great work - your videos are most watchable.
I like the way you detailed the channels atthe end. Im gonna have to put that one in the ole filing cabinet. Genius. Excited to see where the truck goes. And maybe after the truck, you can do a Datsun 510/1600!
You sir, are an artist, great work 👍
Loving this frankenhauler build and the anomaly's it throws up and how you find a solution to it.
Don't give me problems, just solutions! If life was only that simple we would all be doing it.
Keep up the good work
How good is Trev's blog, I've learned so much about working sheet metal from him!
Great job Jeff
Jeff yet another amazing video highlighting your fabrication skills. Keep them coming my friend. Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Very satisfying work. It looks great.
If you want that curve in the panel a small English will help. With a shrinker to straighten the top of the panel.
Unfortunately for me in Canada, I cannot enter the contest. So I guess you will have to enter in it for me 😁. I never understood why this is the case. Shouldn't it be great for Weldclass to know that people as far as Canada know of their existence? Ah well, it takes nothing out of looking at your videos. Cheers from up north.
Good work, Jeff!
Hi mate what you're upto so far is looking sensational mate looking forward to seeing it come together
Good job and interesting project!! Good luck!
For something so complicated you sure make it look easy!!!!!
Watching you do bodywork is a thing of beauty these days. You're really good Jeff.
Nice Ace Ventura reference Jeff
Really like your videos well edited and keeping it interesting 👍
Seriously, you're sheet metal skills are fantastic. You need to show us how to panel beat sheet metal now. You would be a great teacher.
Jeff, your intricate work, puzzle solving & patience is amazing!!!!
Keep up the good work.
Nice vid, thanks for posting.
The more work you do on the cab the more I think it would look much better with a good paint job when it’s finished.
Looks amazing - great job!
So much work, that cab hasn't had any love in many decades. I suspect it would be a foolish task if based in the US, but I guess they are few and far between here in Aus.
Reminds me of Mrs Jeff, lookin great😁
Nice work
Very nicely done. Love this
Henry Ford would be smilng to see that old truck cab body coming back to life a little bit at a time, nice work Jeff.
Again you are making better than new!
I would like to congratulate the person who will get the welding kit 😊
Have a great day!! 👍👏👏👍😊
Hello Jeff. You need to put some shim in the middle of lower bending tool to fix that bending issue
I've commisioned Ryan to fly over and teach you the english wheel. We'll see how much sway I have.
Lol
Jefrf, I always enjoy the fearless and cheerful way you approach your projects!
Another great job mate.
Loos great! You and other CZcamsrs say they don’t get many views with sheet metal videos but I like them!
I have to say. I really didn’t thing I’d get in to the frankenhauler series after watching the Alferrari series but because of the time you take editing it and explaining things I’m really enjoying it, good stuff Jeff. Loved the tig vs might explanation 👍🏻 Thank You! ~Stew 🇺🇸
Now I really want to get myself a welder both Tig an mig, and a car to practice on . Looks to be so much fun
Interrupted arc MIG welds shouldn’t crack provided you keep putting the next spot on before the weld puddles fully set (it’s a bit of a finger workout on thin stuff).
If you want to stitch around to spread heat, do the inch stitches in different areas, then carefully die grind a little v into the start/end of the stitches and start/end in the V overlapping the previous stitch slightly so the welds blend properly.
Then do a dye pen test after sanding the welds down and ‘tig wash’ (basically just melt the crack/lapping in with the tig, without really adding filler) any faults it exposes in.
Misses Jeff’s bloopers are so cute.😊
Ciao from Italy, anche per l'Algiritmo Misterioso!!!
That looks great
It's so satisfying seeing a section complete like that! Really enjoying the series. Makes me want to get to work on my 69' Mustang.
Great video. FYI: Paper is folded... Metal is bent or formed. 😉
Jeff if you want to reduce the deflection on your brake remove the top blade and put some paper shims in between the blade and the press where the deflection occurs doesn't need to be much 0.2 or so just add more if needed . Hope this tip helps you in some way.
cool ! nice detailing on the chanel bits
Great work Jeff your skills and "Tribal Knowledge " are amazing! Dean( Soul) Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 P.S. Subscribed!
That corner panel was a nightmare to line up! Great work!
Excellent progress, love the Mrs Jeff bloopers.
Well done on the patch panels. An inspiration to all !!!
Excellent work Jeff. Just as well you enjoy such detailed work!
I bet many people would be in a mental care home at the prospect!!
commenting for the mysterious algorithm :)
Great job
I’m in awe of the guys that can do panels from flat metal, as my twin brother is, he used to make repair panels for Sunbeam Alpine convertible car for a few years.
You'd be as busy as a cat burying shit on a marble staircase knocking out panels for any Pommy car of that vintage Mate.
encore un super job... bravo😉
Nice workmanship as always. Great explanation as well.
Cheers.
Definitely a Big job but you have the ability to make it look easy. Great job!👍❤️🇨🇦
You are a genius
My favourite CZcamsr at the moment, your doing a great job Jeff really enjoy your videos always, love your work!
Nice work, as usual.
Another great panel patch job Jeff 👍😎👍
Brilliantly done as per usual. Keep up your great work mate.
Looking really good 👍, hopefully dont need to end up cutting any back out when fitting cab to chassis
That should not be an issue as the cab sits on top of the chassis ;)
Hey up Jeff you're doing some good work on this cab really starting to take shape, watched a lot ov trev a few years ago his skills are second to non, definitely an artist when it comes to shaping metal and good teaching skills also, did you consider using some round stock to press that curve. Did wonder if there was going to be a Sunday vid after getting some boxter in the week, thanks mate
Do you have an Ohio plate?
Love the bloopers, lol!!
Good work Jeff
Yeah awesome work,
Patreon for the win. I’m just here to like and comment …
Thanks mate :D
Top job 👌🏻🇩🇰🇳🇿🏁😎
Well done on that repair looks really good.
Don’t you put some protection on the steal so it doesn’t rust?
I will
👍👍👍
🎉🎉🎉
Please reconsider doing a patina build. Too much effort for for a rolling wreak
but what you say about the tempering of steel applies to high carbon steel not low carbon
How's the new garage coming?
Could you use a shrinker/stretcher to make the depressed sections?
Not really. That would be super difficult.
👍🏻👏🍺
What if you have to change all this so it fits the to be chassis ?
