    Use barkeepers friend (it’s a polish for stainless) it will get the brown off and make it look brand new again… my wife used it on ours.

    Get the E series hot and add warm water for steam wipe dry. I never had an issue that way.

    Yeah basically since it's nonstick it's just like a nonstick pan and therefor you wash it like a nonstick pan. I just bought the 22 inch two days ago and gave it its first washing yesterday. I'll hopefully have time to use it within the next couple of days for the first time.

    It's advertised as non stick it should be just as good as nonstick skillets for the stove. The surface must wear over time because mine just keeps getting worse.

    I always put it on 500 and hit it with some water and paper towels. It will steam that stuck stuff off.

      You may want to be careful doing so... This sounds like a recipe for possibly warping your griddle.

    😂I don’t know why you using a abrasion pad in the Blackstone manual it says DO NOT wash the griddle top in the dishwasher, and AVOID using anything that may scratch the surface, including metal scouring pads and abrasive cleaners. And everything your doing in this video screams red flags bells and whistles going off 🎉

    • @cookingwithduckie
      @cookingwithduckie  Před 8 měsíci

      my pad i use is not abrasive at all its very soft and I have not had any problems with the surface being scratched or the coating coming off

    • @cookingwithduckie

      i have stains in the middle of the griddle and it does bow up if i add cold meat to it i usually wait for meat to get to room temp
