ah, the almost Streets of Rage 4. This was the first game I bought when I bought a PS1 for the first time back in 97 I think.

wow brings back memories. I remember finishing this game with my cousin when we where kids. it was an epic moment for us because we finished it in one day and we got to stay up late.

GOD DAMN GOOOD, I didnt think its possible to do Vulkan solo... nice tactics, sensei! The leg jump to avoid his shockwave drop, and also throwing pipes. I only used barrels, never noticed there are pipes to tear off! Awesome
as for Zeng, I once grabbed him with Hawk, and slowly punched him all the way to zero (if you punch fast, Hawk does a finisher with his head and breaks the grab). Was fun. But hell, why not use grenades and firearms from those crates?!...
...Though never counted wulverine girls on level 5 as bosses
The Driver boss is actually Smasher's beta model, that's why they look so much alike especially their face, you can check out the Judgement Force prototype to see it for yourself
And Vulkan was supposed to be the 4th character instead of Alanna

@@miguelvargas5202 Somebody recently found a handful of dev builds for the PS1 and uploaded the playthroughs on youtube, there's so much more stuff that we didn't know about. There were supposed to be dogs, a forklift boss, even a tank boss at the army base, the base being much bigger than the final one with unseen cars, and probably more I forgot. I find it incredible how much more interesting the beta stuff is compared to the final game
This was the first beat-'em-up/brawler I ever played; call me nostalgic, but even today I still dig oldschool PS1 early 3D graphics and models, something about that aesthetic has always appealed to me.

This and Ninja:Shadow of Darkness were some good games made by Eidos. Classics for sure 👍

Funny how back in the day even with these graphics I found female characters super hot unlike in today's games with ultra realistic HD graphics where everyone looks average unless it's Japanese games.
The character designs have kind of an Futuristic SNK Vibe to them.
Truer words sometimes left unspoken, especially when we have those SJWs running around. We just can't have those good stuffs.

Oh my God lol. This game brings back some memories. My friend and I would rent it all the time when we had sleepovers. We would laugh so hard when the bums would throw giant rocks at us in the park level
Aah, good o' times. Takes me back when me and my cousins played this game together, and it a was a lot of fun. Games like this is becoming rare sights these days, and especially since we now have online multiplayer games, but this remains a classic we can play anytime, even during the lockdown(like what we got months ago, up to this point), and without Internet(yep, offline multiplayer is a thing).
Magnificently done once more, bud. But if you're going to play the sequel.... Prepare for disappointment. Unless you're OK with it being a single-player game, and more oriented towards military actions, I see why not.
Reminds me of crisis beat. Also beat em up from PS1, also with enemies that spend 90% time staring at player character

Boss 05 - Vulkan was the hardest. I just threw as many items at him as possible.
This game has such an interesting atmosphere and sounds.

If anyone was going to use a signature attack against all these hostiles. The only problem it will only decrease health so no signatures. On The other hand, with the ending as the base was destroyed. The two-retreating enemy mercs in their hover machines probably didn't get very far and was eliminated by Marine forces after Zeng's capture and defeat.

Ive never played the first one. Just the sequal. The sequal gets a lot of hate. It might not have much to do with the first one, but it is a great game.
Mace was such a baddie, but Alana had a better ground cover moves, so I was always torn between the two 😢
