All jokes aside imagine if that reaper push was old reapers with structure damage 😂 i didn't really play at the time i was more into custom games so it never occurred to me how op they were but seriously how did they make it past beta.
@@celestrius9197those were dark, dark times. We were screaming about it in the closed beta and shocked it made it to release. Didn't last all too long tho. The unit sucked but you could suicide in 5-6 reapers (needed tech labs at the time) and easily take out their spawning pool in a snap. Thing was, SO MUCH was broken. Proxy Thor, cloaked Banshee, High Templar able to spawn with enough energy to storm and feedback that hit hard enough to one-shot a medivac... It was absurd 😂
Oh also you could build a rax before depot so yeah... Nuts

14:10 this setup by gumiho was phenomenal. Bait tank on the corridor where hydras cant reach, main force blocking the front, support on the back, widowmine followup on tactical retreat.
Clearly Gumiho finally earned enough XP to level up. Like even with Clem and Serral, it still feels like I'm watching a human playing. Gumiho lately just looks like an android instantaneously calculating probabilities of success for actions. At no point in game 1 did it feel like there was a second of panic. Very glad to see The Admiral reaching such heights.

@@hivetech4903 he didn't in this match, he just moved queens to the front line for anti air and then they were stranded. Had he brought ovies they would've been able to transfuse the ravages and each other + they could've retreated. He lost because of that engagement.
@@Nova_Jan ? He won game 3. The mid game push with the stranded Queens will likely be because he forgot to get pnematized carapace or felt he could end it if he hit the right timing so didn't bother.
Even in that fight, there was no way transfuse would've helped him push up the ramp into 3-3 bio.

I really don't understand how this game is balanced for zerg, who struggle against easy early terran air units, multiple unit options for terran harass, must also push queens to spread creep, have skills with giant arcs in the air easy to dodge. You almost never see Hydras in any game because they serve no purpose at this level, and despite terrans many harass options, zerg must generally aim for an economic advantage with an additional base making them more susceptible to that harass.
We can't be watching the same game. Zerg is OP. He all ins and still has many opportunities to win. Zerg has the best scout in the early game, it has map control with ling speed. Zerg simply drones, drones Oh he has hellion? I make mass queen.. Oh you have void ray as toss? Mass queen. Oh you oracle/moracle? Queen/spore. Oh you kill some drones? I make more. Oh you have marine pressure? Ling speed and queen. Zerg is meant to be defensive and the max out before your opponent. You go bio? I go ling bane and your splits better be perfect and if not you auto lose, if you aren't dropping/applying pressure/clearing creep etc. Terran is the hardest race to be good at. Zerg is strong.

PvT: 52.5% - Protoss favored
PvZ: 55% - Protoss favored
TvZ: 52.5% - Terran favored
The ramblings of some ladder player do not mean anything. Facts are that Zerg is currently the weakest race overall at professional level, although overall the balance is pretty good (anything within 3% of 50 is considered well balanced & these numbers change each month).
Zerg don't struggle against early air units... an additional base is not just for economy & has many benefits... Zergs are not worried about it being more susceptible to harass. Do you play Zerg at a reasonably high level?
Other races have to multi-task macro while having to harass, something that is much easier for Zerg so it sort of balances out - spreading creep is not hard. The races are all difficult in different ways.

I can't believe Zerg Still has a chance to win after going all in and losing on all in and being behind on grades the entire game. Doesn't matter I can max with lower tier and potentially win. The power of zerg. Zerg is OP.
Have you seen the worker count? It's right there. The last game SoO built behind his push, it wasn't an "all in". And he did succeed in pushing gumi back to 2 bases
