Excellent video and explanation. Very helpful. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good job.
I have another version of this module and i was confused about setting the output current, now I know how.
Thanks.
mine is DP60, it came with cooling fan.
Thank you Sir.. Great reviews wt excellent tutorials & presentations.. 👍👍👍
Thank you, for this video i am new to this charging and discharging, didn’t know what the diode was for, now I do !!!!
You are welcome. Please subscribe. I appreciate it and helps my channel grow. Thank you
Nice video review. I have one....and used it for short killer...thanks to this amazing video....more videos more power.
does it have on and off timer or over protection and under protection for changing batteries
zk-12kx v2 vs zk-12jva-kx what's the difference?
zk-jva-12kx vs zk-12kx what's the difference?
Hello, good day, what happens is that on my device, it does not output voltage, it only shows 0.06, 0.05, could it be a specific damaged integration that I should change? Could you guide me a little, thank you
The seller must be receiving several fried modules returned. Which is why he is providing this diode solution I guess. But it feels annoying when you are buying something for accurate input/output display purpose, and then you need to de-purpose it by performing such vague adjustments. What do you think? Is it really necessary?
Does buck converter can use on lights or LED lamp light bulbs?
yes. it is just a power supply. The buck means the way the voltage is reduced.
I just got that module. i have one question. When i allready charging a 12V battery through the diode - can i bypas that diode to get rid of Vf loss at that diode? As i understand, that diode is for protecting the board when Vout is 0V and output gets connected to battery. When Vout of the board is higher than Vbat - can i shunt that diode?
Yes that is exactly right.
@@WattHour so, when i allready charging - i can remove diode, right?
can you wire these converters in parallel to double amps? obvs with anti-backflow diodes?
Yes if you set the exact voltage.
@@WattHour Brilliant! Your videos explain so much more detail. One more question, if i may - I have a 7s15p solar generator (29.4v charge) - i want to charge from my 12v Ford van socket, do you know any devices you have reviewed i can look into that would suit my situation? Thanks for you help and Keep the videos coming -= subbed :)
this module can go upto 12amp at 12v.....You didn't turn the potentiometer while the constant current light was glowing. You should have to do that to get the maximum current.
Hello, perhaps you skipped. I did it more than once.
Hi I got same device from aliexpress but it doesn't go above 12.22 on the output side
Do you have any idea about why that happening
Hi, is the output at the voltage when there is load or without load? may be the potentiometer is bad. Not sure.
Are you sure there is no option to calibrate the output V or C for the buck step meter? Thumbs up.
I have shown and explained everything. So nothing left out.
If I have an input voltage of 12v can i raise the output voltage higher than 12v
May be you missed when I said : buck converter. This is reducing the input voltage. Look for boost converters. I have so many of them.
At 24:44 the efficiency is was calculated incorrectly. It's supposed to be around 97%.
Thank you for pointing that out. I might have made mistake, but quick view showed it is correct (output power)÷(input power)=(29.8x5.2)÷(32x6)=80.7%.
Look again; i don't see a 6 amp, sorry. I see 4.99 Amp at input. So (29.8x5.2) ÷ (32x4.99) = 97%
You are right. I can't fix it now. I noticed that the drop of efficiency but ignored it as I was thinking this is how the module is. I can't remove the video. Thanks for pointing it out. I will put a not in the resources page for this video.
Is it safe for the module to get an input from solar panel to charge a battery? As the input current and voltage is not constant.
Yes it is as long the voltage is within the range.
@@WattHourI see, thanks.
I have this module also but my problem is how to adjust to the maximum output current for 14.6v output voltage...my power source is 19v 12.3amp..what do you think is the max current output of this?...
Calculate output power and subtract about 14% from it , this is the input power. I made this video to answer such questions. Please watch and you will have no questions left.
may i know what power supply you are using and what voltage and current does your power supply have?...thanks
This module has a problem. The voltage goes very high while switching it on. Be careful if you have a sensitive device to power up
mine no longer have a output voltage at all, but input is good not noticeable electrical damage. what could cause this?
Check all soldering points.Main power chip is dead.
@@WattHour do you know which is the main chip?
@@deathriths hi, were you able to solve the problem? , I have something similar with mine, it does not give output voltage, only 0.06, thx
it was one of the chips i just use as a volt meter now lol@@gutenpratenhil618
How to buy this sir.
Search on Amazon, eBay or AliExpress. Just type the model
