More than 3/4 of billionaires are 4% artists and 8% professional athletes ! Than you have the Elon Musk, the Bill Gates etc. 80% of americans are middle class that became poor class, the poor class is ....going extinct !
Jim Courier says it best you can give someone all best trainers/coaches equipment but that person has too want it themselves and put in all hard work. God bless her and all the greats for doing exactly that.
she will be a top 10 soon, she is gorgeous, smart and sweet. Her father having money gives her more credit, she could just do nothing !! Instead she is a top 20 and the way she plays, she will be soon a top 10
"...she is gorgeous...her father having money gives her more credit..." Just say she is White and gorgeous, that is why people like her. And I have never seen overweight/obese or unfortunate-looking billionaires so having such money makes such people motivated to not sit and do nothing, unless they are pop/hiphop stars and have crappy music yet are supported by the growing dumb masses. Credit is taken not given in her case, or left neutral.
Actually, this works in her favor. She could have done anything in life or nothing at all. The fact that she works insanely hard to be her best and is a threat at the top levels of tennis is remarkable. Bravo Emma, keep going strong!🎉
@Jackgritty28 Yes, but that's the beauty of this situation. She doesn't need the money - it's not about the money. It's about the game, it's about pushing herself to be her absolute best.
I had no idea about Emma Navarro's family wealth, now that l do know it doesn't matter to me personally. My only thought is that l am even more impressed because she despite her wealth has done all of the hard work it takes to become a great tennis player. Women's professional tennis is extremely competitive. An athlete has to be maniacal in her determination in order to survive on the tour. For Emma to maintain that edge considering how hungry other women are who don't come from extreme wealth is beyond impressive.
Almost unheard of .. daughter of billionaire .. playing top notch tennis … Quite unlike other team sports .. one could enjoy the game and become very good .. but tennis is an individual sport .. very very competitive … everyone is working their butts off .. just to be competitive .. outworking others simply is not forte for the riches .. great story
or, it just shows that money can buy the best coaches and training opportunities allowing to emerge. Or, billionaires' kids are more gifted than us mere mortals
@@TheGecko213 then the fact that two billionaire's kids are top 100 wta players (a % that is hundreds fold higher than mere chance) is just because they are a superior gene pool. You really are one simple delusional mind.
Emma is an amazing ,hard working athlete. Climbing to where she is has nothing to do to do with wealth. Yes k in the early stages of a junior it makes a difference. In the professional circuit , NO.
Why should it matter that her family is wealthy? Yes, amateur tennis is an expensive hobby and girls on the tour don't make much money until they start winning major tournaments. Did her background help her to develop as a tennis player? Certainly. Does that takes nothing away from her.
I agree, she is definitely amazing. But those polemics (which are mainly attention-grabbing media stunts) also end up inadvertently shedding a bit of light on the situation of so many pro tennis players, who (up until about the 100 best in the whole world!) can't make enough money to pay all the many expenses on tour and survive. It's a brutal sport, where you either are part of the elite of the elite, or you have a sponsorship, either from a rich parent, a government, or a company (the latter being quite hard to get for most, especially in the beginning). I've personally met talented tennis players, who despite all the hard work and love for the sport, couldn't keep up with expenses and had to give up and find another job.
@@BrazilDan1 Thanks. In that light, media attention could help to expose the uphill battle most players face. I'm not sure what can be done about it or how the "brutal" system changes.
Goodness honestly it’s her parents who are billionaires! Emma is their daughter yes & she’s a very good tennis player! Emma’s worked hard to get where she’s at on the tennis court so let’s remember that! Keep her parents out of the conversation this is about Emma only & her abilities to play tennis! Good Luck to Emma the rest of the way at Wimbledon 👏
Sure, wealth can buy you time and best education, trainers. But Emma is down to earth and very skillful and for that, we should admire her. She isn't spoilt.
Emma Navarro is a great player I was just gonna go back and look at her play matches who cares if your father is rich just leave her alone that’s all about stuff that she has no control over she wants to play tennis that’s it good luck next year at Wimbolton

"Emma Navarro has been *outed* as the daughter of a billionaire." What a stupid opening sentence - from a *CZcamsr* no less. 😂 First, being rich in and of itself is not a moral failing. Second, even if it were a moral failing, we don't pumish people for who their parents are. Being born into wealth is no more of a sin than being born into poverty. The use of the word "*outed*" suggests that Emma deserves ridicule or shame. In reality, it's people that try to shame you for the random circumstances of your birth that are behaving shamefully. If life goes according to plan, I'll one day be rich enough so that my daughter can become a professional tennis player *if she has the drive and talent to become one.* Those are the decisive qualities: drive and talent. You can't buy them. You can't buy or network your way into the WTA Top 100. Neither Navarro, nor Pegula are nepo babies and they easily could have been, as many in the comments have pointed out. Do better CZcamsr.
Your comments couldn’t be more wrong money does not dictate who wins in tennis all the pros are coached by the best coaching available your understanding of a wealthy female tennis player misses the mark ignorance public opinion injustice envy and resentment and unearned privilege through wealth is not on the court with when she’s playing in a match you missed the mark go back to the drawing board and do your homework -
The comment section has spoken. Emma Navarro's talent, hard work, passion and attitude speaks for itself.
To me she looks like she has the best attitude on court , always seems calm and focused, no screaming, complaining, constant fist pumps or crying.
Why do you value people it’s zero passion and personality? Maybe you’re jealous of them?
Jessica Pegula, ranked 5th in WTA. Daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula. They are worth $7B.

Yes, we've already gone thru this struggle session. The dilemma posed in this video is FAKE.
Jim Courier says it best you can give someone all best trainers/coaches equipment but that person has too want it themselves and put in all hard work. God bless her and all the greats for doing exactly that.
Exactly. Also, you can't buy your way into the WTA 100. You can't become a professional athlete, especially not in a solo sport, through nepotism.
she will be a top 10 soon, she is gorgeous, smart and sweet. Her father having money gives her more credit, she could just do nothing !! Instead she is a top 20 and the way she plays, she will be soon a top 10

so Jessica Pegula is not the only Tennis player to have a Billionaire family backing her

I think it makes Navarro (and Pegula) extra impressive because it removes one of the big motivators for a lot of players: money.

Wrong

Best coaches cannot make you a best player

Truly pathetic video 💀
Wiki says it’s just around $1.6B.
Pegula however is almost $7B.
Me however, I’m only up to letter H.
Does it really matter how wealthy a player is perceived to be. It's what they do on the court.
She is not wealthy, her parents are

Very true
Many parents don’t give extra money to their kids
Why should it matter that her family is wealthy?
