I must tell you Samantha, I look for a tutorial from you every day and are sad when there isn’t one (you can’t have one every day, I know). That is how much I enjoy watching and listening to you. I have been wrapping for so long and I still enjoy watching you make one of the simple components. This link is simply adorable, my sister’s b’ day is coming up and guess what she is getting?!?!😂. Thank you so much for your kindness and being so generous with your time. ♥️
That’s such a beautiful thing to say ☺️ Thank you so very much for your kindness. It really does mean a lot to me ❤️

Thank you so much 😊
@@samanthalatimer1 I bought 16g copper today and made the bracelet with a blue Czech nautilus bead as the focal and 4mm blue bicones. I do have some plier marks to take of but other than that I'm quite happy with it. Thanks again for the concept and tutorial.
@@catethemidnightbeader3549 oh that sounds beautiful 😍
I loved watching this. You always take your time to demonstrate. Thank you, I can't wait to try making this.
Thank you ☺️ I hope you enjoy making yours and make sure to let me know how you get along 🥰
Fantastic! When I first saw this I thought the wire sections would be complicated but not at all. How clever! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! And thank you ☺️
Thanks for sharing your bead haul with us and for another great tutorial. Some of those beautiful tourmaline rondelles with a larger link would make a gorgeous necklace!
Oh goodness yes! Aren’t they gorgeous beads!!! But you know when you get something gorgeous and you kinda don’t want to use them 😂
This is absolutely stunning. I found my stepped pliers so now I just need the wire and practice. Your videos are absolutely fantastic. Thank you for sharing. 😊

lol it was SO hard to keep my hand on my purse 😆 Even my husband was walking around saying he’d forgotten his wallet haha 😂
@@samanthalatimer1 😆 🤣 😂
I love this component! And so easy to make.
I enjoyed seeing your bead haul. It’s so easy to go over your planned spending amount at those shows. I went to the Tucson Arizona gem/bead show 6 years ago. Over 45 shows across the city for two weeks. (4 days was enough for me ) It’s easy to lose track of your $ spent. It’s a treat to see at least once. I’ll be using beads from that haul for years yet. 😊
That show is world famous so I’m super jealous! Maybe one day, when I can afford, I’ll take a trip to Arizona and take in the bead and gem show 🥰
"snowman waving hello" :) another lovely design, too. Thanks!
You’re so welcome 🤗

Love your videos Samantha. I have been twisting up wire and playing around with making jewelry since about 2008 and like many Im sure, your way always has me watching your videos before ppl who are teaching more advanced techniques I hope that came out correctly because you genuinely inspire me and I will be giving you credit for this little beauty!! 🎉 So cool keep em coming please 😀 Thx from NW Oregon our weather is alot like yours love the rain and ur cute lil doggy 😍
Whilst I adore the more complicated and intricate designs - and there are some amazing wire artists on CZcams - my whole channel philosophy is to make craft and jewellery making accessible to the beginner, so I’m very grateful for your very kind comment. 🥰
Hello sweetheart, my name is Lorena from California USA I love making jewelry and lately I've been attracted to wire designs can't wait to try this beautiful bracelet thank you
Hi Lorena 👋 It’s so lovely to have you here 🥰
I have seen this design before but watching you do it I had an ahh haa moment and will do some of these lovely links today. Thank you for the inspiration.
Ah well I’m glad it brought you an “aha” moment! 🥰
When I saw this a couple of days ago, I couldn’t wait to see the tutorial! I appreciate that, as a beginner jewelry maker, that you have this very well done videos. You are a wonderful teacher. I have tried many of your other projects, can’t wait to try this! To hold a variety of beads while working, I bought a melamine serving tray meant for deviled eggs. It has 10 separate bowls and one large bowl in the middle. Perfect to hold my beads and finished components. The bonus was that I bought it during Easter so it has a sweet bunny picture on it. Thanks for another great project!
I’m so grateful for your comment ☺️ I wanted my channel to be accessible for beginners, so it makes me happy you enjoy the videos 😍
the egg plate is a great idea. I already have three of them in different sizes. Thanks for your tip!
Thanking you for sharing this for us! I want to learn to do more wire working.
It’s addictive, for sure 🥰
Looks so complicated, yet so simple. Thank you!
You’re so very welcome 🤗
Wire jewelry is new to me but I've done beaded stuff for years and I find using a painter's palette with multiple sections very useful for keeping the beading components organized. I hope this helps someone. Have a wonderful day and thank you for your fantastic tutorials.
Oh that’s a fabulous idea!!! Thanks so much for sharing 🥰🥰

Thank you so much for your lovely comment ☺️
Your wrapped loops are perfect
Thank you! 🤩
Thank you for sharing Samantha. It’s so pretty!
You’re very welcome ☺️
Yay, yay, yay!! Samantha, your link projects are the BOMB! This is perfect for a long boho necklace that I've been imagining for quite some time. It's going to also double as a lanyard holder for an event I have next week. I'm making this with gold colored wire and a variety of black/grey gems/stones that I have not been able to figure out what to do with. I've got some lava stone, some pyrite, black pearls and something greyt that I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. But the combination of the black/grey with gold and one or two cream colored seed beads is lovely and rather elegant. Thank you so much for this tutorial and the lovely double infinity links! You're a superstar.
Ah you’re so lovely 🥰 Thank you ☺️ It will look fab as a lanyard actually.
PS: Great bead haul! I love tourmaline, too.
That bracelet is absolutely adorable. I'm so glad your video popped into my feed. I'm not great at designing but can follow directions pretty well. I've subscribed and will be giving this a try soon. Thank you from Savannah, Georgia.
You are so welcome! 🤗 and thank you for being here 🥰
Great tutorial. Love it as usual also the tag along to see all the beads. You are right the cream beads are 5/0's. You could also use a beadmat while doing your tutorials. Thanks for sharing have a wonderful day. Our weather here today in Oklahoma not very good. It always changes too.
I have about 14 bead mats! Haha. But they don’t come over on 4k video very well 😆 Thank you so much for watching and I hope your weather improves soon!! 🥰
@@samanthalatimer1 you're welcome 😊 thanks 😊!!!
Gorgeous, thank you Samantha x
You are very welcome 🤗
My first time seeing you. I love your style and want to see more
Oh that’s so lovely 🥰 Thank you for bringing here
Just subscribed! I’m not “really” a beginner (with arthritic hands!) and I understand those “adjustments” but I’m hooked! I am making some of the loops, using the same tools, and instead of cutting sections, I kept the wire connected to the spool and it was easier to cross the wires, with no waste. Made about 16 already! I love the bracelet you made and the infinity links have so many other uses. Thank you!
Ooh yes, the keeping the wire on the spool is also a great way to do these 🙌 Thanks for the tip ☺️
Es un trabajo precioso ❤
Muchas gracias ☺️
Another lovely tutorial. I know what I’ll be doing tomorrow afternoon. Thank you! 😄. Also very envious of that bead fair. We don’t have many here in Scotland either but Beads Up North looked fab!
It was quite small but I’m ok with that. We really don’t get spoiled with craft fairs much do we? Us “up north” need more craft fairs!!!
Samantha, just lovely ❤
Thank you ☺️
Samantha, you do such beautiful work ❤️👍 I have made a few of your pieces 💖 Keep the tutorials coming 💖 I have learned great techniques from you 💖 Thank you so much ❤ I will definitely have to make this one ❤👍

Wonderful tutorial. Thank you
You’re very welcome ☺️
Hi Samantha, my first time watching you I like how you teach keep up the good work
That’s very kind of you, thank you ☺️
This figure 8 figure would look cool with different color wire. Like a silver 8 on bottom and a copper 8 on top. Or whatever color way or wire of your choice. The possibilities are ur choice
Ooh yes! That would look super nice 😊
We have weather like yours here in Washington State USA. We can also wake up at 33F and by 4pm it’s 74.
Isn’t it ridiculous lol 😂
I use the little dipping sauce saucers that you can get oh anywhere...Target walmart wherever the art stores but they're like for dipping sauces and they're little and they're perfect and they stack into each other
That’s a great idea 😍
Delicious 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖💖💖
Thank you 😋
I love this! I made earrings with the figure 8 and a small lamp work bead hooked to the bottom (I am a lampworker and have been looking for ways to incorporate my beads into pieces). Thanks!

Hi Samantha I have just watched my first video of yours and I must say I'm very intrigued. I am very new to this and just started making bracelets from elastic wire. I would love to use copper wire and you make it look so easy. Will definitely be looking back for beginners videos.
Hi Tracey 😍 That’s lovely! And I hope you love making your jewellery. All of my videos are beginner friendly so please do have a watch and shout out in the comments if you need any help
@@samanthalatimer1 what kind of copper wire do you use? Is it a wire specific for jewelry or any wire from a builders merchant. Like I said I'm new to all this and not got a clue.
@@traceyfairburn1803 you can pretty much use any copper wire. The smaller spools you buy can be a bit expensive, so I get mine on larger spools which works out cheaper. Electrical copper wire is just the same as long as it’s labelled “bare” or “raw” - some of them can be coated. Whilst you’re learning, you can get aluminium wire, which is quite soft, and can be a cheaper option whilst you’re getting the hang of things. I’d suggest getting some 1mm copper wire, and 0.8mm and 0.4mm, which will give you enough options for wrapping and loops etc. Hope that helps
@@samanthalatimer1 thank you much you are very helpful. 😀
I lay a piece of felt in my work area to keep beads from rolling away.
Me too! But it didn’t look very nice on screen because it’s all beat up 😆
I could go crazy at that bead fair!! Thanks for the tutorial it's fantastic, easy to follow. I loved the purple agate in your bead haul, that would look good in this design. I was wondering for the necklace would you use steps one and three for the smaller size? I can feel some more shopping coming on so I can make the set. 😁
Sorry I only just read this (I was asleep) 😆 I did use steps 1 and 4 on the 2-9mm pliers… using 16g wire and 4cm length 🥰
@@samanthalatimer1 Thanks so much, I'd really like to try this design it's so pretty. I'm in Australia sorry my comments are often going to come through at night UK. Especially with the time difference at the moment. Thanks again, can't wait to get some supplies and give it a go!! 😁
Love all your videos, apologies if already been asked but can you recommend a make of flush cutters to buy? Thankyou
It all depends on your budget (as with all things lol) I’d suggest Tronex if you’re rich and Xuron if you’re like the rest of us 🤗😃 And thank you! That’s so lovely of you to say 😍
I just love this pattern , so pretty , when u talk about the wire , 16 and 18 gauge wire, are u using dead soft, half hard , ? im never sure of that , lol , ty so much for another great video Sam!!
Always soft. Half hard wrecks my hands! I’ll make sure and say next time 🤗
@@samanthalatimer1 ty ty!!
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Are 6-0 seed beads smaller than 6mm beads. I used 6 mm beads but the fit was very tight (maybe my loops were too big) and 4 mm beads had too small of a hole to pass the 1.0 mm wire through.
6/0 beads are approximately 4mm but they have a larger hole… usually about 1.5mm. So it’s possible this is why you’ve had a little trouble.
Are your components different sizes between the bracelet and necklace? The picture makes the necklace one have the appearance of smaller components. If so, which sections on your bail pliers are used?
They are different sizes, yes. I used the 4cm lengths of wire, for the smaller ones, and the 1st and 4th steps. You can just experiment with your steps and lengths of wire… this is just for ideas 🥰
❤️🤩
🥰🥰
