Seems for a few people this has worked. It has not worked for me, but I appreciate you taking the time to post this. Apparently my issue is different. I was on the phone with Rockstar Tech a couple days ago too, for this issue. My settings are fine, my Internet is strong. Just can't connect.

Alright boys for anyone still wondering i have found out a sort of fix for it and its pretty simple, as soon as you launch gta from the rockstar games launcher and the app pops up on the taskbar open it and dont tab out, that should fix it

@@smokeyy17 So it turns out that GTA 5 has to be in a certain place in your PC, that means you can't change the location and your google drive has to be turned off. that's what helped me (I did have to reset my pc for that
