This looks more colorful and almost glorious than the original print, which had the color looking dull, brownier, and faded. I really like how this and the other two followups did the usual Casper formula better compared to most of the 50's cartoons since Casper was portrayed as a sad lonely ghost longing for friendship and he's aware that people see him as a scary old ghost. I really love the dark scene when Casper attempts to commit suicide by having himself run over by a train, only for the train to pass over him because he's a ghost, how the animals don't scream A G-G-G-G-GHOST!!!!! when they see Casper, and the old ghostly wizard's faces changing from happy and light to dark and sinster(with their eye glowing)in the title card . One of Famous' best, back when Famous Studios had a lot of creative freedom and did a lot of great stuff until 1950.
    Happy 75th Birthday,Casper!!!!!

While no original titles (nothing but a little editing can fix that though), that's gotta be the most GORGEOUS print I've ever seen. Just in time for Casper's 75th Birthday. It's also been 25 years since the Casper movie came out

Actually these are the original titles just incomplete, plus NTA just only covered up the paramount copyright seen in the original theatrical print.

Man! I was hoping you’d find the original titles... oh well! Great find anyway! Also, this print is like 3 other NTA prints where they cut the soundtrack on their logo with those being “The Mite Makes Right”, “Leprechaun’s Gold” and “Hep Cat Symphony”. Those also have their copyright saying 1946 like here. I’m assuming that is the lab that did this print. Also, what’s Ansco?

Anscocolor was a lesser color process than Technicolor. Lou Bunin's live action/stop motion animation version of Alice in Wonderland was filmed in Anscocolor, supposedly because of Walt Disney, who was making his version of Alice in Wonderland around the same time. Supposedly Walt Disney said that if "the other Alice" was filmed in Technicolor, Walt Disney Productions would no longer use Technicolor. (Though I find that hard to believe.)

Thank you very much for this treasure and for everything you have uploaded or published! I think that it's the sharpest and the less cropped print I've ever seen of this cartoon! At another comment, you said that the print is actually pretty yellow and that you corrected the colors. I don't know if a color strip is missing, but the result isn't very successful, the colors are very cold, tones of blue. For example, this print: czcams.com/video/hOCFELA4Yog/video.html seems to have more proper and balanced colors and they are much warmer than yours (but the brightness there is too low and the image is more cropped). Considering that there aren't many good prints of this film available, could you, please, post a video with the original colors of the film or, at least, a comparison to this one?
