- 6 monster machines that are changing construction:
#1 The ScreedSaver BOSS 240 smoothes out concrete using rollers and blades. It uses GPS to ensure accuracy.
#2 The Hunklinger makes bricklaying much quicker. It lays 1,000 bricks of any size and shape per hour!
#3 This $100 million monstrous excavator can dig up 240,000 tons of rock a day. The excavator is 310 feet tall and weighs 15,500 tons. It was built to remove coal and excess rock from mines.
#4 The BMM300 rolls out brick after brick.
#5 This road-building machine rolls out bricks like a carpet. As the RPS6 Roadprinter rolls backward, gravity brings the bricks flat to rest on the ground. This creates a perfect brick road.
#6 This 6,700-ton monster machine was digging under Seattle for years. "Bertha" the boring machine
has a 57.5-foot diameter. The machine was designed to dig a two-mile-long highway tunnel.

I think this is the
Future
Are you Filipino?
they forgot to mention that "Bertha "broke several times and hasn't finished the two-mile tunnel, even though it's been in "operation" for several years
Wrong and wrong. Tunnel boring completed a while ago, and it almost broke, just once. It had a design flaw, overheating in the main bearing... kinda goes with building and operating the world's largest tunnel boring machine.
I live in Seattle and worked on the tunnel for several years. So get your facts straight next time you wanna talk smack 😅
it was completed in April, but it still started in 2013 and didnt finish till 2017. i would know i live in downtown Seattle
Kiernan, well then you clearly have no idea about what is going on in your own city. The machine is done with the tunneling. It never "broke" it was just overheating and the engineers decided to change the design on the main bearing.
It also stopped several times for routine maintenance which is a standard practice for TBMs.
The only work remaining is interior roadway and utility construction.
I've worked heavy construction in Seattle for years, so if you ever feel like stepping away from your desk job, you can come down to the tunnel and see how real men earn their living 👷
MISTER APEX who built the machine Boeing??
elchucofried, it was a Japanese company, Hitachi-Zosen.
Boeing mainly does just aerospace products, civilian and military.

Come on tech insider lets not go this direction
Michael Scofield
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... What? Its tech though..........
Would you rather see them go political again?
Amazing.

What Next? COMPUTER THAT ARE CHANGING THE INTERNET? Huh.
My 💓 BMM300
This is the end of the jobs
#3 is called a bucket wheel excavator.
Disrupting industry 😎
Worst to the bird
Yay! Less jobs!
IF you work construction as your job its not even worth keeping the job it is low paying
WHY ARE YOU EVERYWHERE I GO, SIR.
Oh boo hoo
If you work construction in North Korea or China, yeah it's low paying shovel work... but in the US, Canada, Europe, etc, we use the latest technology and provide sizeable salaries with full benefits 👌
In the philippines kids in 11 above work construction just to buy their own food
that looks like the first boss in Nier Automata.
is a ton equal to 1000kg?
Kruppstahl :)
Music was awful
mrmatalino typical construction/tech mech music though
Nice video, ever heard of the metric system that 90% of the world is using?

Focus on the car only, it looks like the car is on the platform and the car is moving and the car would fall

Why the hell are you still creating 1:1 videos?
Instagram.
What's up with the shitty aspect ratio?
And so forth there are less jobs every day...
The excavator still isn’t as tall as the Saturn V rocket😁
“The BMM300 rolls out brick after brick” oh really? Couldn’t quite tell, thanks for the one petty sentence... this video is weak, just left me with questions. How about you explain how these machines are changing the construction industry? We need more info.
