Those crabs are fully aquatic and are called mud crabs. They probably make great bait for several species.

Hey I love bass fishing in my local lake and just caught my first bass ever about 4 pounds 17 inches got any tips on how to catch more where to catch and the best lures because the fish in my lake like blue. Anybody got any tips?

Harris Mud crab aka Rhithropanopeus harrisii is your tiny little crab there. Were introduced back in the 80s. Can hurt the crayfish population as they directly compete with food sources.
I’ve been to that exact campsite. The water wasn’t as low as it seem in y’all’s video but dam brings back good memories .
Those are mud crabs. They push into freshwater reservoirs sometimes. Great bait honestly. Everything eats them.

Worked in building a pool out there and drove past that hatchery but never had the time to stop in or fish the lake.
A serious question for the squad, do you all only drink Busch?? No local brewery to get a nice porter or stout or even a seasonal ale…never been a fan of corporate beer myself and imo a growler full of a local brew around the campfire is heavenly!!!

You know jackall just came out with a micro crab soft plastic that looks amazing underwater with the elaztec type plastic guys are catching giants (40-55) plus on that small crab bite might be something to look into?
In south east Asia they got little fresh water crab
In South Africa we have a lot of fresh water crabs. But love the video, always a good day
