It's between episodes 47 and 49. This scene is from the S saga, between episodes 90 and 127. The final movie SuperS takes place during the SuperS takes place between episodes 128 and 166. No need to even watch the final Stars saga for this movie.
I don't feel sad because Luna is in love with a guy who loves someone else & wants to be human (she can transform into one in the Crystal anime & manga); But I hate seeing a kitty cry.:(

Luna thought he started to cheat on her in the future. Despite that it's complicated with them. They're a couple and yet also take interest in others. For Luna it was Kakeru and Yaten. For Artemis it was Minako. The Minako thing varies between the manga and 90s anime though. Either way it's complicated AF... Although, with the cast you can pretty much poly-lovefest headcanon all of them.
