    Big thanks from Texas! Wished I had discovered this before tearing mine apart to see exactly what you just showed! BTW if you love this thing... just go ahead and buy an authentic Dewalt unit too. Bare tool is $120 usd... it's basically this thing on meth. Two totally different tools, but you'll absolutely love the dewalt. Long story short on the dewalt is: if it fits, it snips... copper pipe... every kind of wood I've tried... hoses... doesn't matter. It's a lot heavier, and both tools have their place, but I figured I'd tell ya about them in case you can't get them there yet, saved me a ton of time doing that trigger mechanism demo. Guessing it's some sort of hall effect sensor. I'm gunna throw this thing on a RC robotic arm eventually...😂

    Could you maybe do an other video and have a look inside the transmission?
    I'm curious if you can even open it at all
    there's propably just a planetary gear reduction going on there, but it kinda looks like it just is crimped shut

    I got the "900" watt red one but it's slower than the one on your video. Is there a speed adjustment on the mechanism somewhere? Tnx.

    You mentioned this was the favorite of the knockoff Makita tools, would there be any other knockoffs you'd recommend?

    Thanks for this. Can you tell if it is actually a brushless motor?

    • @Coyote973
      @Coyote973 Před rokem

      Motor has three wires and there is an electronic board, so 90% it's a brushless. A DC motor would have only two wires and a very simple switch.

    Have you tried or will you be trying the fakita leaf blower?

    • @BuildsStuff
      @BuildsStuff  Před 3 lety

      Yeah I have tried one. I used it briefly and compared it to the Makita on my other channel in the fake makita dual battery charger video.
