    World's Best Smoked Salmon Dip!
    4 cups of smoked skinless salmon
    You can use canned salmon also if you really need to
    2 (8 oz.) packages of cream cheese
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1 tbsp. pepper
    1 tbsp. chives
    2/3 tbsp. dill
    1/8 cup red diced onion
    1/2 tsp lemon zest
    1 tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tbsp. wasabi
    Blend everything then fold in 4 cups chopped skinless salmon
    Chill in the fridge for at least 5 hours!

    Sounds so fire right now, looks amazing! One day if I have the patience to make it and smoke some salmon I will definitely try this recipe for sure. Store bought dips are aye-ok for me so imagine making your own! Thanks for sharing.

    When the white protein leaks out of the salmon, that indicates overcooking which makes it dry. Best to stop the cooking process before this happens if you want it succulent.

      I was about to say the same thing on the white protein leak. The white protein usually comes out once the salmon has reached a temperature of 145 F. You can usually cook/smoke the salmon until it reaches 125 F. Good dip recipe

      It leaks from cooking at too high of heat. Smoke it at 170 or below.

    Thanks for sharing. I've never done this before. This is the first one that convinced me this is the one because your idea is what my idea of what salmon dip should be, not something with tiny bits of salmon here and there. You get it.

    This is a great dip, I did some adjusting on it I broke it in half and little less salt. Anyway after the third day it was taking on the lemon zest really well. For some weird reason made me think of Christmas, love it. -thanks-

    Im coming full circle on your recipes, I mentioned on your brine recipe i got some whitefish from a fishing charter. I have since smoked it (a little closer to jerky) and ate a couple pieces but the thin strips in the brine and a heavy 4 hour hickory smoke theyre potent.
    Im going to tame em down by makin the remaining smoked fish into a dip with this recipe. Thanks !

    Add Cottage Cheese w/chives and garlic salt to the cream cheese & sour cream. That alone is SOOO GOOD â€ŒïžđŸ˜đŸ€—
    😋Moms dip recipe. I added my own smoked salmon to mom’s dip years later
    Very similar to yours years later YOU HAVE A WINNER &
    USE RUFFLES POTATO CHIPS

    I have to say you underestimated your fish amount twice but you pulled it off! What I really like is the fact that you gave all the amounts. Some chefs try to force you into joining their website, for a fee, to get that info. Keep the internet free!

    I wonder if I can smoked the salmon and freeze it to make the dip another day or if freezing the smoked salmon will change the texture

      Unfortunately, this dip isn't one you can freeze. Once you thaw it out again, the texture is all wonky and just doesn't hold up.

    There is no sense wasting money on that Wasabi paste. Any Wasabi you can get at the grocery store is fake, it’s just horseradish with food coloring. Real Wasabi is very expensive, and has to be freshly ground because it loses it’s flavor very quickly. Just get a small jar of ground horseradish instead. Horseradish keeps for months and has lots of other uses like making cocktail sauce or I love it along with steak, roast, or of course prime rib.
