- How to change car image in #Volkswagen after #MIB2 system retrofit to match actual vehicle variant. Check popular picture coding options and #OBDeleven examples. Module 5F stores vehicle brand, model, generation, variant, and variant supplement. If you set those values correctly, you will see on the display the correct vehicle image. Those settings will be shown in board computer, climatronic menu, sound fader-balance, background lights, parktronic / rear view camera, and number of other options that are displayed on the infotainment screen.

As far as I know, the MIB2 unit I bought was part of an Golf MK7 with a manual transmission, however my car has an automatic transmission. Do I have to do some coding regarding the different transmissions?

Yes you can change everything about the car the color model gti r gtd etc and you can change interior to virtual dash and big radio or small radio itâs all coding related

Is it possible that the MIB2 Discover Media 5C0035684B FW: 0363 (Retrofitted in a 2015 Jetta SE) does not have vehicle images available in the firmware to show on the screen (I have tried the 2 Jetta codings only so far and neither show a vehicle).

The thing is that I want to stop DRL from dimming when the low beam is turned on cause you know that when you turn the xenon light on the Drl dimms to 30 or 40%

Hello is there any solution for a dashboard coding i have a VW Passat B8 2015 with a analog dashboard.
I manage to retrofit a digital dashboard from a VW Tiguan and i want to change the start up screen to a Passat at the moment it still shows a Tiguan when i enter into the vehicle.

There's no coding for that. Cars are grey/silver by default and go to black/transparent if there's a warning to indicate.
But you could modify graphics in the system to change colors.

Change the graphic itself. Gain access to filesystem, find skin files, extract, modify, compress, upload to unit, and hope it will not damage the system đ
