Just an FYI - if you utilize the BMW navigation it will overtake cars and prompt you before making lane changes itself (you check your blind spots as confirmation)

I feel you're information is extremely helpful. Impressive video! Just a few points to note...I think the word you're looking for is Assistive. If I may, I'd like to provide a little context. BMW has decided to offer Driver Assistance functions for now, because far too many vehicles on the road do not have similar technology. Meaning the lack of communication between vehicles is in the realm where the decision was made to give Assistive functionality instead of Autonomous. It's just not fully safe at this particular moment. Think of the current level of functionality as a means to an end...we're perfecting Automated Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) until it's more safe than not for autonomous functionality.

Hopefully BMW's Highway Assistant feature will be available on the upcoming 2025 X3!

    1. Is the max speed 80 while the function is on?
    2. If you keep your eyes on road and the camera sense your eyes, does it still ask you to put your hands on the wheel after like 10 seconds?
    3. The tracking the front car function, is it for your car to sense its distance etc, so it can slow the when the front car slows down?
