    Hi there😉🙏I enjoyed your episode🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I have a rare hoya endauensis in moss. I water it with warm filtered water, then I place the pot on a big rag and that sucks-out any excess water that the hoya doesn't need. It works great😉And I just bought a hoya mathilde today😄💖I love it! I love all your hoyas actually😌💞The hoya curtisii is easy enough to grow. My one likes moss and coco coir mix. It is still recovering from shock of being in a potting mix. Anyway, have a great day! Love your videos🤗💖

      That's amazing!! I appreciate your kind words and support!! I had an endauensis but I failed to keep it alive. Mathilde is definitely one of my favs. It's just so cute and easy. Curtisii is the one I heard mixed experience of. To me it is extremely easy to grow but a lot of people seem to have problems with it. 🤷‍♀️

    Gorgeous hoyas! Love your nail polish! 💓

  • @wellwithinlifecoaching7306

    My hoya mathilde is lighter green. I want it dark like yours. Do you have it under a grow light? Bc you have splash PLUS dark green-the best of both worlds! Beautiful hoyas:) love the “yay” at the end when you show plants. Stay you, you’re awesome:)

    • @amandalaw7131
      @amandalaw7131  Před 3 lety

      Thank you so much for your support!! If you want you Hoya to turn dark green and spalshy, A LOT of light is a must. I do grow most of my Hoya under grow light. I generally leave the light on for 10 to 12 hours. =)

    H. Kaniakumariana (?) Is a really cool one with small thinner wavy leaves... they look like a child cut them out of paper. ☺
    Also, maybe top 5 fast growing hoyas (in you experience) would be nice.

      @amandalaw7131  Před 4 lety

    Is the Curtisii different from the string of hearts

    • @amandalaw7131
      @amandalaw7131  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi! Yes they're completely different species. Hoya curtisii is the one I showed in the video . String of Hearts is in the Ceropegia genus. Its scientific name is Ceropegia woodii =)

      Omg me too!! I didn't kill it but it doesn't do well like my other one. That's such a good idea! I'll add it on the list :)

  • @magspies
    @magspies Před 4 lety +1

    I prefer large leaf hoya, but my 'current' 😅 favourite small foliage hoya is H.dickasoniana (aka weebella, aka ). It's great. Flowers easily and they are tiny and so cute 😊

    • @magspies
      @magspies Před 4 lety +1

      And video/s I'd like to see are hoya based on growing conditions: like high light, higher temp and humidity, less light, cooler temps...etc 😊

    I think the people who struggle with curtsii might have soil that doesn drain or dry out quick enough so the leafs closes to the soil sit in moist soil and end up being too wet for too long and those leafs die.

    • @amandalaw7131
      @amandalaw7131  Před 4 lety

      I totally agreed. Like I said, I give it bright light under my grow light and water it at most once every 10 days and it has been really happy. It's just one of those Hoya that enjoys being neglected (to a certain extent) 😅

    How do you get plants from Gardino?! I’ve never been able to make a purchase :/

    • @amandalaw7131
      @amandalaw7131  Před 3 lety

      Haha!! I haven't been able to get one for a while. They used to be not as well known and has a fixed restock day and time. However, they need to change their restock schedule to avoid crash on their site as demand increased. I still love them. May be one of these I'll catch one again. ☺️

    Hello. Where do you usually buy your Hoyas? Any nursery tips? I’m from NorCal as well. Thanks.

    • @amandalaw7131
      @amandalaw7131  Před 3 lety

      I bought most of the "uncommon" Hoya species online. Most of the nurseries in San Francisco only carry more "common" varieties such as carnosa, queen, princess etc.
