"We're gonna have Big Bucks today... I can feel it"
Really, Peter? Do tell.
+Shelby Herring You know I was wondering the same thing. Was Peter just giving a line, or did he somehow know what would happen? Also it's ironically creepy when Peter tells Michael: "I hope you don't OD on money."
+Shelby Herring It's also funny how Michael plays comically bad in the first round. But once the 2nd round hits it looks like he made a deal with the devil.
eternalhalloween1 you figure the first round was just to warm up. The second round was where it was going to be at.
Life was so simple in the 1980s.
Peter at the beginning of Round 2: "We have a lot of dollars"
Michael Larson: "Hold my beer".
Host: "Hopefully you don't O.D. on money Michael!"
Michael: "Bitch, you have no idea....."
Thanks for this... I've been looking everywhere for this
The absolute madman!
imagine if Michael hit a 2nd whammy during all those spins.
Peter: "We're gonna have a lot of big bucks today, I can feel it."
Michael: (thinking) "You better fucking believe it, Peter! I might drive this network bankrupt to the point where they can't even afford The Price is Right anymore!"
Imagine all the porn that hadn’t been made yet at this time...
when I saw them turning for the second big board it's like no one knew they were about to see some something historic
This whole episode seems weird. The announcer's voice breaks, Peter makes an ironic prediction, it's apparently the last day of the "home player" game (what an interesting final episode to the home-players it must have been), and Peter makes a really weird crack to the returning champion - not to mention Michael plays pretty badly to start off. Michael seems like a normal contestant until about 15 minutes in, and then he gets into this weird "zone" and starts getting creepy. Yeah, a very strange episode!
In retrospect the pattern is not difficult to figure out.
Larson spent hours watching video tapes of press your luck to figure out the pattern.
I can't believe he was 35 during that episode i am almost 40 and look younger then him.
I find it funny that a home gym costed $5 less then an air conditioner.... oh those crazy 80's.
+Rob “Rob56” 56 yeah..... that'd be 1000's of dollars
Hi
2020 ❤✌😎👍
If he hadn't quit where he did, he could've easily won at least 50,000 more.
yea fucking right, watch a documentary on adrenaline
I've always wondered. But if you watch his last few spins, he isn't hitting the same pattern he hit before. According to the guy beside him, he could tell Michael was getting stressed and tired and he may not have been able to make it.
Killer Orange Cat and you could tell that he realized Michael was the better player that day (though it helped he won the previous day). He just killed his spins so he didn’t put Michael under more pressure.
Those other 2 players are clapping hysterically, but are really thinking 'give us a chance you greedy cu*t'
The woman has admitted she wasn't happy at all. She saw this, of course, being her chance to be in the spotlight and win. She was quite angry and at certain times you can tell she is not happy.
Killer Orange Cat She was a sore loser. So it seemed. But who are we to judge?
"or... will he end up owning the network?"
Hahahahahaha, at the rate he was going, he could have very well earned enough money to do that hahahahahha
What a boss.
You can tell Tomarken is losing it. He appears to be entertained, scared and shocked all at the same time. He is trying to talk him out of his spins subtly and he is probably thinking that if Larsen wins enough money the network may pull the show and he is out of a job too lol.
Supposedly when they were taping this particular episode pandemonium was slowly breaking out back in the control room. They were scared(and rightfully so) of actual cheating. And if that happened they were ALL going to lose there jobs in the scandal that soon follow.
In the documentary, Peter said that he was worried about Larson's health during the spinning, and that he didn't want him to lose all that money to a Whammy (and it seems that Peter never knew of the trick that Michael was doing until they showed it to him in the doc). He was legitimately shocked.
This guy won big alright he went from driving an ice cream truck to becoming the. A huge millionaire before he passed in 1999

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I always thought that Michael hit that first Whammy on purpose just to cover up what he was up to. I could be wrong.
John Fenner nah, he was getting in sync with the board. He even has his hiccups (that for him thankfully didn’t turn into any whammies) early in the second before he just gets fully in sync.
Is this from the original CBS broadcast?
Daniel Barker Yes it is. The CBS affiliate in Baltimore (I still live here) at the time was WBAL-TV.
Peter: we’re gonna have big bucks today I can feel it
It’s almost as if he knew this was gonna happen
Ed: "Oh my hands are sore!" 😆😂
The pattern is very obvious.
Only thing Michael did bad at is not listen to the entire question. The coin ?
And to think this was 36 years ago
He did not cheat. It was not against the rules. Period.
Its funny almost everytime he stops its in the same 2 spots
I don't give a f*** if this guy cheated or not if he figured out a way good for him

STOP ahahahahahaha so funny.
I wonder whatever happened to Michael Landry of Jeanerette, Louisiana.
Andrea D Probably pissed off thinking "This SOB controlled the board and only got me $1000!?!?!"
The producers were probably happy that they never decided to give the home player money equal to the amount won by the actual player.
Sounds like Johnny Olsen announcing
Lord Shaxx That was Rod Roddy announcing. Johnny Olsen was announcer of "The Price Is Right."

He was obsessed with money

godking 😂 Stress, I suppose. Recently, a man was speaking to me and I was calling him "sir" and "mister" because he had a head of gray hair & looked to be my father's age. Turns out he was 32... 😂
For real? Thought the guy was in his late 40’s...
sclock2 😂❤️
