Very nice effect, thanks a lot for the tutorial! :) If I may say so, it might be a good idea to make tutorials a little more detailed. As a beginner on Resolve, I apply "stupidly" what you say to do but I don't understand everything... I wish I could learn and then detach myself from the tutorial and then develop my own ideas! It doesn't matter if it's 5 minutes longer as long as you explain everything that you do ^^
This is not a complaint but rather a request for future tutorials, and I appreciate you sharing this on CZcams! 😊

If you can tell us, that you're a beginner, than you know already the issue.
I remember, how many After Effects tutorials I had to follow, to understand one day, that actually I know the tools and everything to make my own effects, anyway. Took time. To learn a software, takes time. Follow the tutorials and wait for the moment. Give YOURSELF time. That's the key, nothing complicated.

@@JamieFenn I'm also a beginner. 'Have used Resolve for well over a year, but still a beginner just having some fun. I totally get what Benowa was saying; your videos are short and lead the viewer through the steps, but a beginner (or even some more advanced users) might not have the foggiest idea what you're doing or how you figured out your method. That said, I do not want to know this level of detail. I don't care. I can watch your five minute videos and add some absolutely bonkers effects to my beginner home movies I make with my kid who absolutely LOVES it. How cool is that?!
There are plenty of long/detailed videos on CZcams or for purchase to learn details of fusion methods if I want to go that route. In fact, most Resolve tutorials are long and detailed!
I appreciate what you're doing here. Keep it up!
