You don't need accuracy when you have a 200 ping dog running after you. You need prayers.
that made me laugh hhhhhhhhhhh
The amount of times I’ve had my streak ended by that goddamn teleporting dog
Real dog = awesome ❤ fake dog =🐶☠🔪FUCKINGFUCKFACEDFUCK 🔫🗡
Amen brother!
Use cold blooded
One thing that I miss in this cod is the firing range..you could keep your shot warm before and after every game!!
Sooo, basically Advanced Warfare and I think maybe Ghosts had it?
*+Thunder Stripe* So does Modern Warfare Remastered.
@@user-jp8rh6ts6m and cod ww2
Echo the Schnolf it was in aw and ww2. They really need to add it tho
@@user-jp8rh6ts6m Huh, never knew mwr had it, but heh, I sadly never bought it 😅
I’m very good at shooting circles around other players
Same, lol
That Nathan Drake's wife?
Really? I usually just shoot at their sides, to try and scare them... doesn't seem to work so well
I too am a silhouette artist
No way. Same!!!
1.Hard point
2.Gridlock
3.Unlimited time
4.Constant mini-map
5.In hard point settings turn lifetime to unlimited
6.Turn off draft
7.Turn off special weaponry/equipment
8.Add bots on normal difficulty, number of bots depends on you
9. Use any gun but generally one that's accurate
To those that say this drill is ineffective, have you even tried it? I mean, you did just watch a 10 minute video about accuracy so I think it is fair to assume you are nowhere near the Shroud level of play. This drill is a simple matter of muscle memory, just like you do drills in the actual military, or like you do drills for piano, you should also do drills for shooting games. That being said, you should be careful that you aren't developing bad habits while shooting the bots. Imagine you are training with the melee knife, if you just run up to the bot and knife him you will likely get the kill, but against a real player you would have probably died. While it is true that you will become more effective with the knife doing this, you will also develop a bad habit. Just because you can run up to the bot and knife him doesn't mean you should. What I do is focus on my movement towards the bot, so that, if it was a real person, I am not easy for them to kill. I will practice slides and jumps to the melee attack against the bots even though it is not necessary. This way, I don't really develop bad habits. Occasionally, a bot will sneak up or spawn on you and you will need to knife them without any fancy footwork but that is besides the point.
I do similar things when killing the bots with guns. I wanted to develop the habit of shooting behind cover whenever possible so I focused on it in custom matches. Now it is like second nature. While it is true that I could have just stood out in the open and killed them all, it wouldn't have been very effective at helping me develop good habits like using cover. Now, I could just stand out in the open and I would still develop my accuracy but it is important to treat the bots like you would treat a real player so you are developing good habits, for people are creatures of habit.
Something many people don't consider is that aiming accuracy, while important, wont make you a good player. Think about it, the veteran bot has amazing aim (naturally, it is a bot), and despite this, the veteran bot sucks. Why? Could it be that aim is only one piece to the puzzle? There is a reason why humans have been able to beat chess computers for so many years despite the incredible calculative abilities of the computer. The chess player can see patterns that is simply outside the reach of the bot. The same is true in shooting games. Your knowledge of the map, your movement, your use of cover, your strategies for attack, your knowledge of human behavior, your instinct of when you will lose a battle, etc, are all just as important, if not more important, than your aiming accuracy. So that is why I suggest taking this aiming drill to the next level so while you are practicing aim accuracy, which is very important, you are also practicing good habits that will help you be competitive with actual people.
Sometimes I will load into a map with no bots and just walk around practicing my centering while thinking about where players can come from, and how could I use the different pieces of cover. Shooting games always have a map... One thing people usually undervalue is map knowledge but it is one of the most important aspects of a shooting game. Like I said, Shooting games always have a map. Also, the more familiar you are with the map, the easier it will be to spot players. For one, you will come to understand where they are likely to be. For two, you will become more acquainted with your surroundings so anything that is out of place, like an enemy, will really pop out at you.
In summary, this drill is very effective when combined with good habit forming drills. You need to be able to outplay other humans, and for that, you need to develop good habits that can give you an edge in a battle, like using cover and good centering. This drill is effective even if you stand in the open and just shoot bots. I just think it is of limited use when done in such a way. While you will improve, it wouldn't even begin to compare to the improvements you can make through focused training.
I genuinely read this in my mind with the voice of a samurai sensei 🔥 🔥 🔥
@@andrel5234 That is both hilarious and flattering. lol
This is pretty good advice, thanks dude. I'll give your tips a try
Very good comment and I totally agree. That’s one reason why I never played with bots because their behaviour is totally different from those of actual people. Will definitely take this advice for running this drill 👍
This drill works and i thought this was the most helpful video. Thanks
The best way to increase your accuracy is to use the ICR with grip 1 and grip 2 LOL
With 2x grip its a fucking laser gun
@@oskarg3075 facts!
Am i the only one who only uses 1 grip?
So true
@@zz_01001 You don't really need 2. People just like the crutch. If Treyarch doesn't nerf the ICR I will be genuinely surprised given Treyarch's history with nerfs.
Hops in drill pumped up and ready pwn....quits 10 minutes later with a 0-93 score.
This drill is actually really useful, improved my aim a lot. I start off with 2 bots and turn off my aim and target assists and play like that for like 15 minutes to groove my thumbs, then once I feel like I'm playing pretty good I'll start a game against 4 bots, turn the assists back on and I start lasering them lol. Been doing this drill twice a day when I can, about an hour a day. We learn muscle memory by short and frequent bouts of repetition, according to studies, so if you're doing this drill to improve then doing it at that kind of frequency is probably best, definitely been helping me.
Also, if you're mostly a Blackout player, you might want to set the health up to 200. Better practise for playing against enemies with trauma kits or armour.
how did you unlock the ability to move the bots to another team?
@@extranosense9553 Everything should be unlocked in customs already. Make sure you chose the correct game mode.
my quick scoping drill is on firing range snapping between long building and back building to each of the moving targets outlines police use that move from side to side. the downside is that they only go one way then the other not at all like a real player but if you can hit them consistently you'll develop your shots with the new none dragging mechanism that they've introduced
I love when you do these! They've helped me out a lot over the years, the first episode I watched was during Ghosts!!
Yo ace just wanted to thank you for this tutorial. I’ve been using it everyday for about a month now and my aim has improved tremendously. I have now altered it for snipe drills and to practice using my tempest and annihilator. Thanks a lot ace!
did this in ww2 and can confirm it definitely helps your shot.. also after long sessions if you feel like your shot is getting sloppy back out and do the drill again and it will help you get it back on track
I'm so glad you came out with this! Have been waiting for this.
Dude... great exercise. Seeing the results after one session of about 20 minutes. Thanks so much!
Disappointed. I was expecting instructions on how to install aimbot lol
Ameer Rehman XD
Funny but fuck cheaters.
Kevin McFarland u can’t aimbot on console so at least we have that
zPatchmade-_- yes u can
@@Hanguyen-mg1ue he hasn't heard of Cronus Max users lol
This is the biggest reason i subscribe to this channel. To watch this specific video! No one else does these like Ace
I do this everytime I had to jump into multiplayer online. Definitely helps my aim so much. Thank you so much. Following you since BO3
Bro I love the work and detail you put into your videos. I recently just started playing online COD and these guys are tough. My aim is not bad but im usuaally near the middle/bottom of the scoreboard so this helps alot. Im def gonna look into those control freaks and gonna share these vids with my boys. Great work man.
I just ran into this video about 3 days ago and I never knew it can be so good. I'm averaging around a 4.2 kd every time I warm before and its absolutely insane how I use to just start the game and play and if my shots were off I would have a bad day in general but now if my shots are off I go to play bots and once I feel like im good again then I go play multiplayer and my shots are back on. VERY NICE VIDEO MAN!!!!!!
Can't wait for quickscope tutorial. It's definitely something I struggle to do. Thanks for all the great info, and vids Ace!
This is how I got good at quickscoping in 1 day:
1. Use the Koshka (I recommend it as a beginner)
2. Put the following attachments: Laser Sight 1 and 2, High Caliber, and Strelok Operater Mod
3. Make a game with bots and practice
4. Your Crosshair will be tiny
5. Because your crosshair is so tiny, try to fit the enemy in the middle of the crosshair
6. Quickly Aim in and Fire your gun
Yes! Its that time of year again! Thanks Ace
I use a similar drill to get adjusted to every new cod game. Using a small to medium size map, one weapon from each class. FFA, 7 hardened bots, no time limit, 1000 points max score, switching guns every hundred points, 1 extra point for headshots, sweeping uav.
Been waiting for this🙏
Been waiting for maps revealed videos ACE!! love your vids mate
I’ve been waiting for this and requesting it I love you 😂💗
this actually works! Thanks alot im going to use this alot, bookmarking it right now
Thank you for this video, I'm a first time cod player so everything is like brand new to me and I struggle a lot with staying on target when engaging my gunfights, my tracing is not as smooth as I
want it to be… I still have a lot to learn about the different maps, how to get around, where the headglitches are and so on.. thx again.. :)
Great vid it’s something I’ve been trying to find to help improve my aim thanks
Great video! Keep the grind up!
I use a extended controller freak on my right stick and a grip on my left stick and it helps so much.
Logan Harrington I used to have those on my Xbox one controller... Don't have anything for my ps4 one :(
Nothing helps my aim it's permanently bad and it won't Improve
ujqw same
ujqw hey you can’t get any worser just play at 5 6 sensitivity and do this training excercise and turn off aim assist and target assist and just try to aim if your right thumb isn’t hurting you’re not trying peace
IlIIllIllIllI never give up! Back in January 2016 I was dogshit at bo3 I had a .20 kd with less than 10% accuracy now I have over 30% accuracy with every gun and I slap sweats
"The recruit bots move in a really weird way and they're just too stupid" 😂😂😂
Idk if I’m just a Timmy no thumbs, but sometimes I feel like I don’t have aim Assist on when I’m shooting down the sights.
Right.. its either the aim assist isint as good or the game is super chopy
Snipers are almost not usable in bo4 due to the lack of aim assist and due to the ttk for assault rifles and lmgs, especially the icr. Also, the flinch makes it extremely hard for a sniper to hit a target at range
This is so true
I'm not great but one of the things that has really helped me is trying to make fewer micro adjustments when I'm snapping on people.
All too often I get into a fight and try to aim on people as they strafe and I over adjust (even on lower sensitivities). I think this is because of how much movement players have while strafing.
With that said, I use strafing to make more fluid micro adjustments and it keeps the feeling of sticky aim, and I pretty much just keep my crosshairs stabilized unless they really try to run away to cover.
Also, being conscious of where your crosshairs are when you're navigating the map helps a lot. Often it's easy to be travelling and not have your crosshairs centered, so when someone pops you you have to drag and snap. It really makes snapping on people more fluid.
Thx for all the great content. It's good to see so many people enjoying this game.
I Am Hypnotic what do you mean? I unload a whole clip into a sniper and then they just snipe me. Snipers in this game are op as hell and need an adjustment due to the ttk being longer all around with reg guns.
Loved this video
Thank you so much this helped me a lot ❤️
Thanks, great drill!
Thanks for posting
Awesome vid!!
Sniping guide would be awesome at some point. I feel this game actually has some maps that are sniper-friendly, but I haven't sniped since BO2 so I'm really bad right now...
Thank you for sharing this
Thank you so much!!!! You are the man!!!
U snapped!!
Great video man
Pure Gold !!
This was an amazing drill very intense, thanks homie
this dril works, its a fantastic warm up before you hop into MP. I like to have aim assist off and then i turn it off for the last 5-10 of the drill.
Awesome video!
Never played black ops before but my friends are pushing for me to play so I'm using your videos to learn... thanks for the info
I know this was a year ago, but the aim assist setting doesn't apply to multiplayer, target assist does. Aim assist is only for single player zombies and such.
This was an excellent tip, having some difficulty with Black Out mode, would like additional instructional videos focused on BO mode especially for beginners.
Good vid man, that reaction time video idea sounds cool 👍
Thanks for the video man!!!
You my friend, are a god! Subbed
Thanks for showing me control freaks because I got them and I love them. They help me so much. Thank you
Amazing bro keep doing what your doing
Ah i was looking forward to this
Amazing video man gr8 job
It’s just like siege t hunt, it makes your aim wicked
Just dropped by to say thanks! This is what I was looking for.
Also. Started off with 4 bots because you made it look easy.
LAWL...
Notgonnahappen.
Little by little!
Thanks for the tips.
If you're having trouble hitting shots in pub matches with attachments keep attachments off for the custom games. Also I dont know if he mentioned this or not but TURN YOUR TARGET ASSIST OFF FOR THE CUSTOM MATCHES just dont forget to turn it back on when you go online
I'm just waiting for the reaction time drills because after playing destiny 2 while waiting for this game I got pretty relaxed in how I play shooters.
A few years ago, for black ops 3, I found this same video. It was the first video I ever watched of yours. I loved it. The way you explained things, the simplicity, the clear knowledge you had, it was fantastic! I have watched every.single.video you've put out since. I even watched all your videos for Infinate Warefare, even though I didnt buy that game. You're an amazing youtuber. Keep up the amazing work! P.s. when are you doing your next Q and A? Like this so Ace sees it!!!!!!
find some better things to do with ur life man.
I agree with Jeff!
@@AhmadKhan-sp3qb what does that even mean? CZcams creates need people to watch, like, comment....its how they make a living. What is wrong with supporting someone for what they do? Supporting their content even if it's not right up your alley? Help me understand what you mean with your comment.
I switched from console to pc a month ago, I didn’t have that much room on my mouse pad so I put my dpi really high (2500) it’s comfortable for me I’m currently playing blackout with a 500 adr and a 2kd I think it’s pretty decent. I want to start lowering my dpi though, I think lowering it will make my accuracy better so I’m really hoping this helps!
The best drill is go to options play 8 veteren bots in free for all with no aim assist and target assist and vibration on then go to option and to turn them on and vibration off to play public. But practise head glitches (looking over things) and holding middle side flanks and checking spawn points. I found it helps alot. Maybe up the brightness and sensitivity.
I reset my stats to help me get better! Thanks for the tips lol
My friends called me stupid for it but I’m glad I bought kontrol freaks last year and they truly do help your aim
So helpful you are the truth! 💯💯💪🏿💪🏿
Yes!!! Thank you
thank you
Thanks I’ll use this once I have dark matter
Thx bro
Found ur channel in IW stopped playing WW2 but subbed back cause bo4 is lit
Cant wait 4 the reaction time video
I been practicing with Veteran bots, cause I feel like they are closer to actually in game enemy's but there also pretty easy, but I'm going to try your method.
Thanks Ace. Would love any drills you could recommend for sniping. Finding it particularly challenging in this COD iteration. PS you said you're in norway now. curious what brought you there?
This video has helped me so much to get better at fps games, can we have a Cold War version of this.
Yeeeah, I'm gonna need you to go ahead and shelf that quick scoping guide. That would be great.
Great video I just set up that about to try...after you play do and you go into multiplayer do u need to set the settings back...
Cool finally a decent guide thats not a top 10 tips and tricks
Great video! I'd just like to add that you don't need Kontrol Freeks to aim well. I've been playing these games since MW3 and all you need to do is train yourself to choke up on the right analog stick more with your thumb. If you need to aim using the tip of your thumb instead of the middle of it then you'll probably need the controller attachment.
Of course you don’t need kontrol freeks but it’s really helpful for people like me that don’t have time to train
Hey ace can you do a vid on dead silence and acoustic sensor cause sometime it feels like it doesn't work against it
Can you make a drill about learning to quickscope and tips for better sniping
It's nice to see you got your calling card. Did mine and it glitched on me and dropped it😊
Ace what about firing range , at the top of the wooden place with free for all that's perfect for a aim drill as well!
How would I go about this if I want to be more accurate with the Mozu skull splitter?
when i started playing call of duty 4 MW i loved the controls when it was L1 and R1 then i found L2 and R2 more efficient, i kept using the controls like that and then came WW2 where i started to rush more and switched the L1 and X buttons, at first it was a bit hard to get used to but in this game it fits in perfectly as you wont be aiming as you press the heal button. and then i started playing Counterstrike where i learned that crouching is really important in a gunfight to avoid headshots and switched R3 with O. now in most gunfights i start shooting crouch then fire in bursts for better accuracy. as for sensitivity i mostly use it at max but here i found it great for me at 12 not for the sake of being high but this game has really great audio and by looking left and right really fast i can hear most enemies without the OP acoustic sensor and i can flick really fast while still being able to make small movements with a sniper rifle.
on pc good accessories can really help and on console as well so i recommend:
a thumbstick grips
controller grip (especially if you have sweaty hands)
and if you have enough money,
A Custom Controller;
There are simple Scuff controllers that give you extra buttons that make it easier to manoeuvre around.
I hate the fact they didn't add the training field like ww2 .that was my only request with this game
Yea, it should be in every cod
Bruh I keep trying every single time when creating a class 😂
I feel like the training field is very very helpful. It gets you more comfortable with guns instead of joining a game n trying to learn last min.
@@SnoCapn your absolutley right man I couldn't agree more with you guys
I always try to go for the John Wick style when running a pistol. 2 bullets center mass, and 1 to the head.
Hey ACE , what sensitivity or you currently playing with?
i need to go try this drill right now my accuracy and reaction times are the worst part of my game my tactic and use of map is pretty good but im old and slow trying to keep up with 15 year old kids
I’m very accurate, the problem is the hitmarkers in core.
And the campers in hardcore.
I'm good at everything but aiming
What’s your set up like? Any COD specific gaming set ups you recommend?
Not sure if you'll respond... I use an X-box controller on PC. I seem to have a ton of recoil vs. mouse users. Even with the disadvantage of using a controller, I lose a lot of gunfights by one bullet. This drill is helping. Any advice, I trust your judgement. You're very helpful.
if I was using snipers should I increase health? Im trying to quickscope, thinking that if i get used to aiming higher it will help me in game
THE ICR DOESNT NEED A NERF MY GOD
Please make the quick scoping drill video
when will you make the sensitivity video?
Nice videos keep it up
Please do a quickscoping drill, I am trying to get better at my sniping.
Are you going to do speacialist analization videos?
(Like gun guides but for specialists)
I really love the Saug 9mm, any setting i should change if im using a sub?
