What to see in one day in Arnhem?
•St. Eusebius church also known as the Eusebiuskerk or the Grote Kerk, at 93 metres is the largest church, and the largest building in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
•The Arnhem market is known as "Markt Arnhem" and is located in the heart of the city, in the market square (Marktplein). It is a very popular place among residents and visitors, where you can buy a variety of fresh products, such as fruits, vegetables, cheeses, breads, flowers and much more. Arnhem Market is open twice a week: on Friday and Saturday mornings. During these days, numerous vendors gather to offer their products. You can also find stalls selling clothing, accessories, household items and more. As well as selling produce, Arnhem Market also offers a lively and bustling atmosphere, with spaces to sit outside and enjoy a meal or drink. It's a great place to spend time outdoors, go shopping and learn about local culture. If you are planning a visit to Arnhem, I recommend including a visit to the market on your to-do list. It is a pleasant experience that will allow you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this fascinating Dutch city.

•Park Sonsbeek in Arnhem is the most famous park in this city. The park is named after Anna van Sonsbeeck, a notable lady in the Arnhem community in the 17th century. Anna's father, Franciscus van Sonsbeeck, comes from the German town of Sonsbeck or Sonsbeeck. Above the main entrance of the Lutheran church in Sonsbeeck, built in 1655, one can still find the city coat of arms: a sun with several wavy lines underneath it representing a stream. The park is 67 hectares in size and borders the Zijpendaal and Gulden Bodem parks in the north. These three parks are closely connected and together cover approximately 200 hectares. In the east, Sonsbeek borders the Sonsbeekkwartier and St. Marten districts, in the south almost the center and in the west the Burgemeesterswijk. The area is a protected cityscape.

als we vroeger vanaf Arnhem zuid naar de markt gingen op vrijdag dan kon ik altijd oud brood over de railing van de brug gooien in de hoop dat het werd gevangen door de meeuwen!
