Victor Hugo rented an apartment in this Place des Vosges house from 1832 till 1848. This place redraws its life and evokes its papers through furnitures, objects and other works of art.

Victor Hugo’s House should be ‘the must’ to visit if you go to Paris. I traveled to England and Paris in May 2023 this year. This is one of the two most impressive places along with Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birth place.
It was a great delightful pleasure to find out my favorite novelist was also a sculptor.
