    Price ran $40-$65 if you shopped at home depot if you get 2x steal angle liner it will be $60. here is what i got.

      How do you countersink the angle iron so that you can ride smoothly over it off of the pad?

    good tutorial but, for those balling on a budget I would recommend you get a pallet, you can usually ask people and get them for free or look around places and you can find one lying around, then get some plywood, screw it on top, done, if you wanna grind on it just buy an angle metal thingy, and if you want it longer use two pallets, hope this helps

      you dont even need ply wood you can buy particle board ... it is so much cheaper

      anywhere he does a weld you'll just have to improvise a way to use bolts/sheet metal screws.

    Hey Aaron! Could you do a simple tutorial on how to make a flatbar? Nothing too complicated, no welding or anything that requires skill. There's only a couple of flatbars in my town and they're really bad and i'd really like to improve my rail skating. Thanks!

      Marketing a flat bar without welding will b hard cuz you count connect the bar to its legs and still have it flat

    At 2:31 it's better if you let the kid use the drill. Don't underestimate any child, start letting kids use power tools at an early age so that when they are in their teens, they will be experts and can build anything they could think of. It will expand their mind and imagination to be more independent. Kids knows when they are making a mistake when using a power tool, they will make changes as they are using them. Kids know how to be safe on their own.

      Robert Phan thank you i'm 13 and i've used drill guns, table saws, bandsaws, jigsaws, hand held circular saws, and chainsaws too i help my dad do everything around the house we dug a 4 and 1/2 foot deep by 8 ft long pond with literally just shovels and i don't even live on a farm or anything i just live in a suburban neighborhood so let kids use power-tools and learn stuff that wouldn't be taught in standardized school so it could open up more job opportunities like being a carpenter or construction worker or stuff like that

    Awesome tip, screw in a sort of flat coping of sheet metal on one edge and you can use it to practice grinds too :)

    How do you transport this once you've assembled it? That thing is heavy and sure as hell doesn't fit in the trunk. Love the vids though man.

      U put wheels on the width end and you pick it up and roll it or if you wanna get it home from a long way away just put 4 wheels on the bottom and ride it like a skateboard home, easy.

    Would be great, cause kickers for me are like manual pads for u :D

    Protip, cover the holes where the screws have been countersunk with like cement putty; the stuff you'd use for filling in cracks in front of, say, a stair.

    ***** 2x4s and 2x6s are actually 1 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches and the same idea for 2x6s. I know this because I have experience in cement masonry and carpentry :)

    Did you have to calculate for the difference between actual and nominal wood? Did you use actual 2 x 6 or were they 1 1/2 x 5 1/2?

    Aaron next time I suggest putting the first crossbrace at 8 inches and on the other side put it at 16 inches and leapfrog it until you get your full length

    you should use nails, they take a lot more bending and abuse than a screw, but still solid either way

    If you wanted to save some money you could use a wood pallet and screw plywood on top, I think lots of stores will give you the pallets they don't need if you ask them.

      SoCaL-_-Carlos drill straight through the tubing (both walls top abs botom, and you use the top holes as a pilot for your screw gun or screw driver... top hole must be a little bigger than the bottom hole so that the screw will fit past the top hole...

    Three screws aligned will cause too much torque....eventually warping the boards overtime because the screws are pulling too strong.

      xX3lite_BeastXx risers are helpful but you don't necessarily need them, they help from getting wheel bite but besides that they dont really do much
