I never tire of saying :"You, u, u oughta know!!!" 🎶
That band though, wow! 🤩
This song is pretty much every girls anthem
Ezequiel Pace mmm no good song tho
Unbelievable, this chick rocks, in every sense of the term. I wish she had more albums like Jagged Little Pill, it hit you like a ton of bricks, between her voice and the band, it was and still is perfect music.
It,
God slapped an act of common courtesy among us in every way wit lit @ apposing posing masochistics statistics.
Great performance....great song....AWESOME album. One of those u could put on & EVERY song was KILLER. Definitely 1 of the very best from the 90's. Should rank very well 4 top all-time best albums. Alanis is looking mighty fine too. The yrs. have been VERY kind to her. :)
Ironic and You Learn are pretty weak, but the rest of the album is great.
kneapoe51 This was an OK album and I enjoyed all of the songs on it BUT there are so many that are MUCH better
Eric McCreadie I don't understand. If you enjoyed all the songs on the record, why would it only be an "okay" album?
Tommy Fletcher Listen to an album like Wish You Were Here and then you will hear a masterpeice
Eric McCreadie well you didn't explain to me your reason for it only being an "okay" album even though you liked every song.
Yeah, I'd say that's a good one, track 10 and 11 were amazing, circles was also a good one, I do like that album, but SCIENCE and Make Yourself were better albums. Have you listened to those?
She looks so beautiful! She looks better now than even in the 90s and she sounds amazing! I am so in love with this woman!
Lots of good covers out there but nothing beats the original.
She is brilliant. Angst to the next level. Great.
all you can ask of a recording artist is that her live recording rival the studio version---and this does. awesome
I wish that Alanis will celebrate the 15th years anniversary of "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie" this year by having a special concerts dedicated to all the songs from that GREAT album! :)
Cada vídeo amo mais. Linda , não tem pra ninguém esse talento. ❤❤
Is the queen of rock!! ❤️
Paolo Stravalaci Totally agree!
Paolo Stravalaci Absolutely!!
Paolo Stravalaci Queen of Pop-Rock...
+Don Finmo Alternative rock
Lucas Basilio Ok then who is the queen of pop-rock?
Rock is life! Alanis ❤
Brilliant live vocals.
I love her
This is one of the most famous songs by Alanis Morissette. And we appreciate both her looks and her talent The text in the song still has an edge. She is quite young for growing being an talented artist so fast. She got the looks of that Trance brunette everyone wanted to nerryck. lol. She comes from Canada were she did some tv series before she became a musician. I still like songs from her.
Love that emoting @3:45!
Maravilhosa!!!!
Awesome upload! My favorite song of hers...actually the entire "Jagged Little Pill" CD rocked, brings back memories :-)
yep, every now and then i pop that pill again
Awesome Music!
"A younger version of me..." Still hot. :D
E verdsde at you that hot
Awesome Woman...
Its fantastic the way she tries to be angry but is just sad.
Amazing
classic and amazing
sensacional
ALANIS :*
i love her
love it ! thx
One of the hottest, most talented women on the planet. Just an awesome song.
Ela era muito linda, hoje está irreconhecível .
I do know baby!
Love Atlantis
Goddess.
wow what an audience wow.. wow..
you rock my world..
I dug it.
good
Comme disent les pros, "elle bouge bien" lol' sur scène quelle énergie
I miss the bounce of the Taylor Hawkins drumming version. Was this rearranged on purpose?
yes...it's called aging
...and just like aging, nobody actually likes it
Nah, I don't know who this is, but Taylor Hawkins gave it a little breakbeat. This guy seems like an upmarket dad rock kind of drummer. Maybe they couldn't find a better one for this tour
@@Trixtah Totally agree. This drummer is a terrible fit for her stuff. Gary Novak was outstanding, Taylor was class as usual, but this guy is trying to hard to be cool Dad drummer. Lack any groove and the fills don't. I'd be confident of doing a better job myself to be honest.
I just listened to her live version on the David Letterman from 1995 and yes they are different but both very good nethertheless
+TheMightyKinkle Its about 10% slower i would say. Play it with the official video side by side and they go out of sync very quickly
+TheMightyKinkle I agree. In 1995, she was very angry when sang this song. Screaming, hair on the face, loud guitars and such. Now she runs out of breath quickly and her voice sounds kinda sad now rather than angry. She doesn't have the same energy anymore.
do you whats the other big difference between then and this performance?the drummer..taylor hawkins is such a big ball of energy in live performance..luckily for dave grohl he found what he truly needs
Alanis veio Du país frio e show dela Alanis esquenta. com ela Alanis nem fria nem monar, faiz dela Alanis grandes cantora do planeta.
Simplemente no tiene rivales para cantar
May be the last breath of the good old MTV.
Plus that song was originally recorded 20 years ago. I am sure her voice has changed a bit in that much time.
I've always loved Alannis , but here i miss the energy she was known at performing.
How is it that I hear her energy and you don't? She gives her all even in this video. She holds back nothing and let's everything out even more here than in the studio version. She does exactly that for what we love and admire her so much. Maybe you need better speakers.
Getting her steps in?
Beautiful woman powerful song excellent cd that I adore. She's a goddess
....ОЧЕНЬ даже ...............
whats with the bulletproof glass in front of the drummer?
Commonly done. Allows the sound engineer to control the snare and cymbals with the mixing board. Not well done here.
The volume of a drummer can't be turned down (other than by throwing a bucket of water on them?) - Hence the sound isolation screens to attempt to control the acoustic bleed-through to the other muso's mikes. (Almost always used during studio recording with other muso's or singers)
May not matter so much to the audience live mix, but the screens will allow a better mix separation if recording the show.
Obviously glass/perspex isn't the best absorbent material - though it lets us see the drummers animal psycho thrashing through them ........
She always looks hot!
I'm going to leave a comment Atlantis we're all grown up now perfecto I really like this version and I just really love the wait Australian nice we're all going up now I'm from era and I come back this cuz I really like it perfecto I really admire other musicians but I always remember you really nice you take care now you hear PS good day Atlantis Atlantis😍
"A younger version of me..." Still hot. :D
I'm here because of Flea :D
Too bad that her energy from the live performances of the 1990s is gone.
THOSE live performances were much more frenetic.
28 people didn't like it when she went down on them in the theater...smh
I wouldn't waste my money on this dvd. I heard enough of it to know that for sure.
The drummer must be a pure animal, they've segregated him from the rest of the band via some Hannibal glass!!
I think he's not that great, frankly. Sure, he can hit hard, but that is the most boring groove ever
like when she move...
Jagged little pill
I'm here because of Flea :D
she's not acknowledging the audience at all she's just walking back and forth along the stage lol..
So what...don't get your point did she pay to see them or
Not even close!!
Must eat at you to hold onto anger at someone for so long.
Who says she is, ffs. She's got a pretty sweet life now, married for a decade, 3 kids.
But there are certainly a number of moments in my life that I can clearly remember how I felt at the time even though I don't give a shit about the situation or the person now. If you're a performer doing your classic hits, you must be able to channel some of those memories to do a decent job, as she does.
Brutal camera work, who gives a fuck what the audience looks like?
I don't like what she did with this song here. It's one of my favourite songs, I love Alanis, but she did it all wrong here. She sings it with grear effort (what can be easily heard), she lacks breath in many moments, and she flattens all the best moments in this song (compared to studio version).
+Yakub87 She's burned that's what happened.
+Yakub87 I agree. Not to mention that this version is slower than the original one.
+Yakub87 This song belongs to Alanis Morissette, not you. She can sing it any which way she wants and your opinion will never matter.
I've noticed the mixing seems off. I don't fault her or the band as much as I do the sound people.
Le falta chispa a Alanis en esta canción. Pero mucha.
good body
looks shit hot :)
why go to California everyone does in the end, but why ? the big one is love love me do, you know i love you ..but who but who
She was sick the day of this concert
its not flea(
\
Not the same without the hawk
I love this song, but I am really disappointed in the production value of this video...too bad there wasn't more visionary direction of such a talented individual....
That's what's missing!!! Her accent. Because here she sounds tired.
Guns & Roses , Alanis Morissette & Blur - You Oughta Know (Ricardo Katsuki Mash-Up)
czcams.com/video/A8Xvl7sZyaQ/video.html
How can you get womens lib out of a track that's obviously about one man? That's like saying any song sang by a man who's pissed at an ex-girlfriend is about men's rights. Just...odd logic.
The audience is half dead
Alanis sounds great but musically it just doesn’t sound quite right. Those players are not doing Dave Navarro and Flea justice at all on this version.
shes tired
Look tired
The original song is really amazing, and Flea's bass is epic !
But in this live, she's really out of her song. She can't pronounce the words well, she's out of breath and she's doesn't have any energy. :'(
It break my heart in lot of little pieces...
Lily Putienne ... Say what you like Lily.... Your negativity won't affect her Fans and only make you less important than you already were to them... If you can't say something positive ...Publicly .. You're open to a rebuttal . Remember that ... Because nobody who appreciates her talent will be swayed by your critical opinion .
She needs to stand stilll. Constantly walking back and forth is doing my head in. It's distracting!
+Adam Foddy Why don't you try putting on a CD instead? I'm sure Alanis would apologise personally if she thought that her pacing, back when this was recorded, would upset you in 2015.
The original whiney girl....
WOW That really was not good. She sounded out of breath, the drums sounded like a garage band mike job. Too much snare and trash in the cymbals and the whole song just dragged. Disappointed. was she tired? sick? drunk?
I wish she would stop walking back forth across the stage it’s distracting
Taylor played better on drums than the drummer here. It makes the whole band sounds so weak
🤡
She's sooo good but I don't like her band and lame mix
Not a fan of what they did with the song here.... just awful. Bring back the original version I say
well she lost her southern eastern ontario accent and now just sounds like an old washed up american has been singer and hey, we have kesha for that.
Take my advice. Don't buy this horrible cd. This song is ok on it but hear more before you decide unless you want to waste your money and time. Anyone saying it's good even must be drunk or crazy or whatever other than this song is pretty good but the rest is pretty bad. That is a sane person's viewpoint in general.
Doug Blaine sounding so butthurt over a album made in tje early 1990s fuckin crybaby 😂😂😂😂
This version is lame
like when she move...
