ive been putting off watching this video because im currently going through something similar. me and my boyfriend went our separate ways yesterday and its been rough, for the past 8 months of my life its been him and now i have to navigate life without him.. learning to be someone that i lost along the way, your videos have always made me smile and laugh and so when this video came on my feed i ignored it, because it was becoming my reality and i didnr want to look up. Today starts a new day and im glad i finnaly watched your video and accepted that im not doing good and im not myself right now, im working twoards being better for myself and also him, just like you i believe that he was my soulmate.. your videos have helped remove the plastic cover off a broken mirror, from one person going thru it to another, i hope the best.
i was going through the same thing baylen. i started obsessing over girls and social media and everything that i shouldn’t be. and then one day it just clicked. i realized i wasn’t focusing on God and sports. i wasn’t with my friends as much. i played video games wayyy too much and i realized that i needed to change. since then ive been going to the gym, started taking baseball extremely seriously, and most importantly learned how to balance school with a gf, music, baseball, gym, friends, family, and above everything else, God. and ngl, it started when i started watching you.

I had this exact situation happen to me and after a year and half of reflecting, going to the gym, and bettering myself i was blessed with a second chance and i took it. Now i am in an extremely healthy and happy relationship with the love of my life, everything i do is for her, but i wont lose sight of my own interests and goals. I swear to god i will marry this girl, i owe it to Him. I believe everyone deserves a second chance, just keep pushing and maybe your second chance will arise soon.

huge step as a person to you for getting this out there, know that your not alone bro some of us feel the same. This goes for everyone is this comment section not just Baylen, my grandmother once told me this saying and it was "be the things you love the most about the people who are gone" and that always stuck with me. Even if that person isnt truly gone or is, take those things you really love about them, and live those characteristics on through yourself. You probably won’t ever see this but if you do keep up the self improvement. I have been on it for a couple years now after having suicidal thoughts and almost being unwantingly touched by two guys(CZcams friendly story there was more). I was also brought out of a hardened mindset that the world was out for me and all there was is despair by a friend that I randomly reached out to for no reason. You are lucky to have friends that did not abandon you! God has a way of putting these people in our lives and it is undeniable. So glad that you found your person! As you go along your journey if you keep improving year after year meditating, journaling, working out and fulfilling your telos it will be hard. Thank you so much for giving back to the community by sharing your story! Although our situations are not the same it is nice to have someone you can relate to. I wish you the best of luck and if you ever have questions look to the Bible or Someone that is much wiser and older than you(View them as a mentor). It’s been almost 4 maybe almost even 5 years of watching Baylen and to this date a man I’ve never even met has been my biggest inspiration in life. I feel like I’m not alone in this world when you talk about how friends won’t tell you when your wrong. I’m blessed I have 3 friends who granted don’t always but I stress to them all the time when an argument happens to just tell me I’m not gonna kills them for being honest with them. when I hear ya talk about your struggles bro and the admirability being able to publicly talk like that is incredible Baylen. I know I’m just some random person and by no means do give good advice but if she means sm to you, you should message her. Even if it isn’t you feelings and it’s just askin how she’s been and what she’s been up to, meet anyone new and make new fiends? Drop in that you miss her but subtly because you don’t want her overwhelmed and if she isn’t ready for that convo she doesn’t have to commit to it. The biggest thing when reconnecting is trying not to make the other person feel outed and awkward. You want them as natural as possible because that’s when true emotion Will be shown.
