Dominica is really small and quite limiting as a place to live. I ended up moving to Panama and acquiring their citizenship but it took a long time. The advantage of Panama is that it has a good location as a place to live. It is the hub of the Americas with their international airport and of course the canal. However you can't buy Panamanian citizenship. You have to have residency for at least 5 years and go through the normal process. The other thing is that if you have a Dominica passport it might be obvious that you have bought it when you travel. The Panamanian passport is better known and people won't think that you bought it. I have had no trouble traveling with a Panamanian passport. Some passports have better visa free travel than others but what is important is that you have visa free travel to the places you want to go. If a passport offers visa free travel to places you never want to go that obviously doesn't help you. The Panamanian passport works well for me as I use it mostly to travel in Latin America. If I go back to the US then I have to use my American passport. I supposedly renounced my American citizenship but only to the Panamanian government. Outside of Panama I am still an American citizen. Obviously I have to use my Panamanian passport to enter Panama. Another advantage of my Panamanian citizenship is that can vote in elections and join a political party which I have done. Panama is a good country in which to start a business. If you plan to stay in the US and only want a second passport as a backup then you might want to buy your passport from one of the islands. My dad was born in Scotland so I might be able to get a UK passport but I have never felt the need for one. It all depends on your situation. Now I am old and have been in Panama for 22 years so I will probably stay here until I die.

Per your advice I am currently looking at making a move to Serbia next springtime and creating a residence/immigration blueprint which I had not done yet and last week finally realized I needed to speak with my feet and put into place what is needed to make my move next year to Serbia with the intent to eventually obtain a Serbian passport. Financially I am still not at the level to work with you likely will be their in a couple years but have definitely utilized your advice to put into place a plan and my plan now is to obtain a Serbian passport along with potentially a Russian passport or Carribbean passport (such as Dominica). This covid situation was the real awakening for me that I needed a second or third passport and it will be nice being in the Balkans from where I presently am in Estonia. Great videos like always!

@@gringopapi6985 Honestly speaking, I see this program as a great idea. Its a good way to make money for the country and for the investor, but I can see holes in it since I''ve lived here since I was born. The biggest hole is investors will have a rough time adapting to Dominica economic struggles. We have a limited population which makes it hard for businesses to thrive here. Without customers who will buy your items. Second hole in this is corruption. If you get on the bad side of someone who has influence in the government they can make it extremely hard and annoying for you in Dominica. For example your business has a branch in Dominica that sells foreign items. These foreign items have to pass through customs, they can say that the items need to be investigated for some odd reason. Your items can end up staying there for days, weeks or at most a month, by that time your business would be making a loss from not being able to sell anything since your items were held back by customs.
I can say if the government handles this well then I can say that people will not regret investing in Dominica and it will at least be able to help us in someway.

50, 000 is not a lot of money. Dominica needs investing in agriculture and manufacturing. Dominica can be the small tool manufacturing for the caribbean. Dominica can do Research and development for the fragrance and flavor industry and be associated with billion dollar entities in the flavor and fragrance business.. The compound from Ross University can be leased out for tourism dental and medical care. Where the tourist gets procedures that cost thousands of dollars in the US at a cheaper rate. Dominica with the UWI can do Research and sell ganja extract oils and medical ganja. Again, if the economy or the budget is dependent on money from citizenship, then the economy of Dominica is a pyramid. It is a pyramid because it needs new money to keep it going. Invest in agriculture. Stop buying foreign agriculture goods and saving millions of dollars.

Dominica’s economy mostly focused on service and agriculture based industries. Actually their passport program is also an economy booster for the country as well. We have to take a very good look at the geography of Dominica though, as a person with a digital media and tech background, the islands tech infrastructure is very vulnerable and lack in some areas, some because it is a Caribbean island vulnerable to hurricanes so sometimes the wifi will give you issues and blackouts are common I assume. That’s probably why IT isn’t their main focus for now until they can build an eco friendly, hurricane withstanding infrastructure for Tech companies to to thrive. Imagine trying to work on code or use the internet for research when your always have storms every week.

Use what you have and work your way through these problems.. Make it possible for you to earn as much money as you can, without giving it to byrocrats (misspelled it probably), and when you do, then you take nice portion of that capital and help someone you think needs your help and will use it in good and efficient way.. That's way better for both you and those who actually need and deserve it, than giving it to pigs in the government.. There are plenty people with residencies in tax havens, who invest more in "charity works" (don't know how ti call it), then they should pay the taxes in their homelands in the first place, but by monitoring where does the money go, they really spend it efficiently and make it more available to people who really need it..

If I have two passports and I want to entry to Paraguay and exit with the other one. Then , in the future I go back again with the other passport, will that time be counted towards the three years of residency inside of the country? I want to get the citizenship but I can't spend three years there. Ideas?
