Fun fact! This year's winner, Jacqueline Boyer, is the daughter of Jacques Pills, the singer for Monaco in the 1959 contest who finished last in his competition.
I love watching the old comtests i love to se how it has gone bether and bether for every year
Gamer Victor I would say : Different. We can’t really compare 1960 with today.
@@berniedu7185 Yes. Every decade had a different kind of style.

Britain’s entry sounded if it had come from the 1940’s. Pleasant enough, but at a time when the 1960 pop charts were full of great beat records, this song sounded so old fashioned and dated! Not quite sure it was chosen to represent the U.K. Baffling!
I hate it 😆

I worked decades later for Rudi Carell, he was a mental ill - narcissistic person.
"Romantic" was later a huge success by Dalida.
Wyn Hoop sung like a frenchman, he did a good job.

Bonne nui!
unpopular opinion: luxembourg didn't deserve to finish last, especially with only one point
