He looks good on the ball and can be creative but he hasn't done anywhere near enough to be a starter . He's been here from the summer and his contributions are no where near the levels needed to be in our first 11 when we have players that constantly score/assist week in week out

I’m 60 and been watching the bhoys since the late 60’s. I don’t think I have ever been more connected with the team and manager as I am now. Big Ange is already a legend in my book. What he has done is totally remarkable and he has assembled an outstanding squad of players who are made of the right stuff.
I realize there are only 11 spots available on the pitch, and we have a lot of talented players.... But I really want to see Sead get more meaningful minutes. The bhoy has got a fearsome edge to him, along with a great deal of skill and quality.
It's obvious, he desperately wants to make his presence felt.

They weren't exactly point blank range, but he definitely should have buried at least one of them... Agreed. I believe hunters call that "buck fever".
In a way, that underscores the point I was trying to make. He tends to come on in the waning moments. He's so revved up to make an impact that it doesn't appear to me that he's relaxed.
I would like to see him get a couple of league starts, and get a real sense of the flow of the game. As the season wears on, it wouldn't do our top bhoys any harm to get the occasional rest for the home stretch.
Maybe I'm overly optimistic about him. I truly rate players from certain parts of the globe. His, and the other countries which once comprised Yugoslavia, is a neck of the woods which produces heaps of great footballers.
I was always bullish on east Asian players, as well - even before Ange. Work rate, effort, and unselfishness all seem part of their DNA.
All that aside, there is just something about his game and his attitude that I like.
The interpreters deserve a shout out as well.
They work day in day out. Well done.

many years ago I worked with a guy who came from Iraq, a very interesting person to say the least. He and his wife decided they wanted to travel the world before they started a family so left Iraq. At some point they ended up in Japan, he said it was the best country he had visited, and said if I ever got the chance to go I should go. The one drawback he said was he could not pick up the language ( his English was word perfect ) very hard, if I remember right he said the Japanese language consists of two alphabets ?. Cannot be easy for our Japanese players to pick up the language, but as you say Reo must be trying. One language they all seem to understand is that of football, the Japanese bhoys are class.

Dont think people realise but this current group of players we have is very rare and gets overlooked how together they are. It's often you get a squad that close from different countries that would all run through brick walls was for the manager.
