1:38 Iguazú falls are a lot bigger than Niagara falls, even in high. The height of Niagara Falls varies between 167 feet (51 metres) and 188 feet (57 metres) and the Iguazú Falls vary in height from 197 feet (60 m) to 269 feet (82 m). So even the lowest part of Iguazu is higher than Niagara.

    • @emmanuel7489

It's really hard to realize the dimensions of the Iguazu falls until you're there. Not only are they tall, but they are wide and everywhere around you. Like this massive beast in middle of the jungle. And the Garganta del Diablo is a freaking scary place, totally deserving of its name.

17:35 oddly, for a country with massive Italian immigration, coffee in Argentina isn't that great. You definitely can find amazing coffee if you look for it, we are in South America after all, but we don't have world quality plantations like Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil. Although coffee is part of our culture (you can't walk two blocks without passing by a café in any city in Argentina) we're a "yerba mate" country. Still, cafeterías in Argentina are a whole experience, and worth trying.

i can't believe they showed the barrio chino (chinatown) but missed a lot of other important items of argentinian food like milanesa um... but anyways, also, i think there are several argentinian owned restaurants in usa that are specialized in argentinian food, you may even have an argentinian restaurant in your own city without knowing it lol so i think you should try to research, maybe you're lucky and you find it but careful, i've seen that they already adapted many foods like empanadas to the american tastes and theyre making empanadas with fillings and flavours typical from usa like tacos spicy chicken or idk so if you want to try the real argentinian empanada you have to ask for the classic version

The secret of Argentine Asado is the time it will take to cook, putting aside the quality of the meat. The USA barbecue burns the outside while leaving the interior raw. The Argentine asado is made with several minutes of low heat.
The main filling is cow meat, but almost every province has a special recipe, some adding egg, potato, olives, raisins (not a fan) and different spices. The ones from Tucumán, Salta and Santiago del Estero are considered the best meat empanadas.
Matadero is the slaughter house. Only a few years ago the biggest cattle market in South America was moved outside the city. Every day between 5000 and 10000 bovines arrived to the market to be sold to different slaughter plants than then sold half carcasses to the butchers or processed cuts for exportation to different countries of the world.
Lots of people say that they got thinner when they went to Europe because the ate fresh vegetables and fruits and less ultraprocessed food. Argentina is mostly similar to Europe. Our freezers keep mosty meat but we eat most vegetables, meat and cold cuts fresh, because we go shopping every few days. There is no monthly buy like in the USE.
Talking of wines the video shows Mendoza, but forgets the zone of Salta. This in a subtropical area which shouldn't be good for wine, but we are in the Andes, and the vineyars are up from 1600 to 2400m (5300 to 8000 feet) up in the mountains, with cold nights and almost every day sunny, receiving the water from the thaw of the mountains.
Other food that you should try in Argentina: milanesas (thin breaded meat) alone or "a la napolitana" (covered with cheese, jam and tomato slices), choripan (a cow or pork saussage in bread), facturas (bread rolls of different types, with dulce de leche / buttered cream / fruit jam), medialunas (croissants) may be with ham and cheese slices (as a sandwich), alfajores (two medium biscuits filled with dulce de leche and covered with chocolate, or meringe or powdered sugar. There are also traditional alfajores from different provinces with jam fillings or differnt coverings or replacing the sweet biscuits with salty biscuits or different recipes. You may buy alfajores in any drugstore. In Argentina I belive we eat more alfajores than candies.

Due to climatic conditions, coffee is not produced in Argentina, so the product is 100% imported.
The coffee plant needs very hot climates for many months. Unfortunately, the summer in Argentina lasts only three months.
Argentina is not a country hot enough to produce coffee, cocoa or coca. That's why we import it.
In Latin America there are countries like Colombia or Brazil that are countries with a very hot climate and produce high quality coffee.
