Enzo is absolutely a first midfield receiver. He can play 6 easily but maybe not so much with an Nkunku or Palmer playing 10. He is a player that follows the play. A Fabregas comparison is perfect. Unfortunately, Chelsea don’t play a position that is tailored for him unless playing 2 permanent 6’s. Which we did play against City but I hope that is the rarity as Palmer defending the wing and playing half space in attack doesn’t work. Especially with Gusto playing right back and in attack right wing. It basically looks like an England with Foden and Trippier. It doesn’t favour either of our 2 best players. Gusto inverting is way more industrious, and Palmer in the 10 allows more touches for our most influential attacker. The problem for Enzo is Lavia is a better 6, Caicedo and KDH are more influential in a 8. Palmer, Nkunku and Felix are way more effective as a 10.
