When I hear this song, one woman's scream is remaining in my head.
Same lmao
not a song
@@rviolinfiddle55 it's a peace!!
Just kidding Lol
it’s a piece
Context
Stravinsky was such an absolute unit
"an absolute unit"
PERFECT!
Rattle has the entire thing memorized. The absolute made lad.
I think one time George Szell with Cleveland Philharmonic was asked, after conducting the entire Ring Cycle from Wagner without a score (I hate Wagner, but still, that's like 12 hours of music) was asked by a journalist:
"How did you memorize that entire piece of music?"
and Szell said something like:
"I did not have to memorize it. I know it."
absolute mad lad!!!! haydn was the best!
Brilliant. Rattle has such a grasp of the score; man.
0:45 amazing page turn by assistant principal first
this music is madness
That's my favorite piece of all time. Its too... unexpected
I LOVE part at 3:44, it's so chaotic and gritty! With that polyrythym and all
I can't wait !!! I remember your performance at Philharmonie de Paris, behind the percussionists... I could feel the vibrations on the ground... Amazing !
I also recently was able to watch a performance of the piece from the choir banks and the percussion really hit my soul
That was brilliantly executed !
the first 20 seconds are sooooo good
How incredible orchestra, since the time of Abbado's tenure never has sounded so well. Rattle has made an awesome job in a short time.💖💖
Heard this live yesterday and years ago Rite of Spring, tears in my eyes, so emotianal experience.
This really sounds like an RPG battle theme
Like one winged angel of final fantasy 7
This is the one where you get jumpscared by the one monster you ABSOLUTELY did not want to face and CANNOT escape from.
Reminds me a little bit of “Battle of the Four Fiends” from Final Fantasy IV.
Why does the recording start without the opening chord?
It's a Demo version
Ironically, I came here exclusively to listen to that opening chord.
I know... sad, huh? That chord is a statement in itself.
Listening to this at double speed is like a psychedelic experience.
LSO, BP, HR FRANKFURT : my favourite orchestras. Great sound Simon!!
Just watched some Russian skater in a competition change her costume mid program. Guess what music they were playing.
Anna Shcherbakova is her name. I saw her program, too. It's wonderful, especially this part.
It totally blown my mind away!!
ahhh so amazing. the chills.
My favourite piece from Firebird.
Fantastico ❤❤😂😂🎉🎉Giuseppe Perego Monza 16.2.1962 Grazie
I first heard this when I was 2, and it’s still one of my favorite songs ever!
Bravissimo!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It is Yuzuru Hanyu that brings me here. How wonderful this song is!
best piece from xx century
Hyper sophisticated music about a Stone Age ritual. Brilliant with or without the ballet. This sizzles.
Did you perhaps confuse The Firebird with The Rite Of Spring?
Yeah you're thinking of Rite of Spring. This is the *other* Fantasia short featuring a volcano.
When it comes to Little Einsteins, I toatally missed how Katschai's (the villian of Rocket's Firebird Rescue) name is actually based on this part of the song.
Clever writers 😉
Great!!
Perfect. Daring. Intensr. Melodic.
had to march bass drum for this song as a marching band performance
Which program?!? Oooof!
Where's the 1st orchestra hit?
Very good
Love this its so menacing i first heard it on a bbc teen drama codename icarus in the 80s i thought that is amazing wrote to bbc they told me what it was its so powerful
I was listening to Freddie Mercury's March of the Black Queen, which was a tiny appetizer. Then I had to listen to Rite of Spring and now I ended up here for the desert 😋
those piccolo players are amazing!
I was just listening to it
La musique est Indispensable
Des le Matin il est indispensable d'en écouter, afin d'avoir de la bonne humeur ( optimisme)
This felt chaotic watching.. my anxiety is high🙃
Simon Rattle! Cumulous clouds have come down to conduct!!! ;-)
Oh no. Video starts just after fantastic first note.
My favorite part begins at 4:38.
Stravinsky was Beethoven's favourite C20 composer.
The 1940s' "Green Hornet" radio series led me here.
AVERINA Arina (RGF) - 2021 Rhythmic Worlds, Kitakyushu (JPN) - Qualifications Hoop
After all the horror movies and video games I've played, this music is still the only thing that horrifies me.
where's the first orchestra hit? :(
0:09
A dance battle between Kashchei's servants and the Firebird.
The plea of the 12 virgins.
Kashchei's men are put to sleep by the power of the firebird and the maidens' dance in front of the Tree of Life.
And a lullaby.
A great story by Diaghilev that wouldn't be enough without ballet.
where and when was this performed???
September 2017, at the Barbican in London
A frightened man in his bed and his shadow turns into a big scary monster that chases him into the closet and out into the streets. Chasing each other and getting away from each other. He wakes up and screamed from his nightmare. He is so glad that “thing” isn’t real.
Excellent breadth in volume and fidelity of reproduction.
This song should be in a Disney movie hahaha 😅
Already was! Fantasia 2000...though perhaps you meant a feature film with a single story throughout and not an anthology of animated symphonies.
@@SobiTheRobot really? I dont know That movie
@@julianmojica2719 If you've never seen Fantasia or Fantasia 2000, you're in for a treat.
@@julianmojica2719its real good! The firebird suite plays in the last sequence of the movie
2:58 for percussionist’s refernace
Mysterious music
Where's the first note?
Does anyone else remember Rocket's Firebird Rescue? (Little Einsteins)
is this a lbp2 pre-alpha reference

And you could do better?

h-hey
The blue haired toxic feminist sticks out way too much at 0:37
Why is this allowed?
You’re gonna let someone’s hair color ruin a performance for you? That sucks.
@@BrianBisetti No, but the entire orchestra is neutral, why should this person be allowed to stick out so much, the narcissism is real in that person.
Having blue hair?
was ist das für eine scheiß
