Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast Closing for GOOD?

- Six Flags Over Texas gave everyone a scare when they announced that Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast will be closing for good on September 11th. Luckily, it seems as if the ride is undergoing some kind of refurbishment for 2023.

I think they should refurbish the entire thing. Get some LSMs, fix the queue to add better AC, improve theming, then make one train go forwards and the other go backwards. I don’t think they’ll go that far but that’s just what I’d want to see.
Could they may one car go 🔙 and other car go forward? Or is it more complex than that?

Intamin put out a video the other day about their Reverse blast model featuring Superman Escape from Krypton. I thought it was pretty random, and initially thought it was just because Magic Mountain is turning the car back around so it won't reverse blast anymore.Then I thought, are they trying to tell us something more. Like maybe LIMs going on Dragster???
I think the reality of it is that management is looking to squeeze every last nickel and they probably have to pay slightly higher insurance in Texas and California with the backward launch.

This is only the best coaster that they have truth be told. The Texas Giant was wonderful before RMC got a hold to it. It's too tame and short and Titan really is nothing to it and Batman is a clone of every other invert in the United States and judge Roy scream is weak. The whole park is weak. They need to refurbish Mr freeze and add a b&m hyper or a GCI Woody.
Texas Giant was pretty horrible before RMC refurbished it. It's tame as hell compared to everything after SteVe/Twisted Timbers but that's the nature of a proof of concept.
@@lastone032085 it was rough but the layout was fabulous. They should have just used topper track. The magic carpet ending is too tame and slow now
How is the titan trash da drop is so fun
@@Diego-zy5dc it's just straight track. It also has a big trim on the mid-course brake run that kills the whole ride. But you have your opinions and I have mine.
