We had the honor of filming Katy's sister's wedding a couple of years ago. It is always so cool when family asks us to be a part of another wedding day. We don't really have enough to say about Nate & Katy. We love spending the day with them. This wedding day had it all - from the dancing at the reception, to the emotional toasts and letter readings to Nate's emotional break down when he saw Katy coming down the aisle.

Incredible. I'm 16 now, a photographer and not really yet a cinematographer. But it's my dream to one day make a wedding film as beautiful as this one. I can't wait. It's my gear that's limiting me, and for a 16 year old that tries to do good in school, it's not easy to build a business and buy the necessary camera equipment to film such a wedding video. But trust me I'll get there no matter what!

I'm not going to say that gear doesn't matter, but learning to use it is way more important! Use what you have and keep at it. You'll get there!!

@@WildOakFilms Oh I know gear is far from everything. But I only have a Nikon D3200 that shoot 1080p video at 25 fps and 2 lenses. That's about it. I can do wonders with that camera when it comes to photography and wildlife photography. But video is something that requires a bit more than a cheap Nikon DSLR with no slow motion or stabilization. But as I said I'll get there. You inspire me. I'm doing event videos with it, but I won't try to film a wedding on just that 🤣 I live in a smaaal town in South Africa so standards are low. I do a lot for my school in terms of photography and video work. It's only the one school in the town. But your films inspire me to want to do more video work and improve myself.

We take 100% creative control. We get to know the couples and really take in the wedding day. Jenn does a great job of obsessing about music and finding just the right song!
