The original xbox was the best so easy and simple to open up and take apart to clean I wish all console still kept the simpler design
Thankyou sir now im ready to fix these!
Thanks man, great video
glad to help
I really need help because in my case, I can't seem to locate those resistors. I think my motherboard is different and I can't find a solution for mine.
I have a tiny small fan that blows hot air away from console it's sits on top of vent. I've never had heating issues however I have a hardrive Inside. Sometimes I think it runs hotter if no hard drive installed so that may make contribute to heating issues
The clip is accessible through a hole in the case behind the sticker. Use your finger to locate it by pressing down then slip a sim card removal tool and it pops right off.
Thanks you so much Now I can play games on xbox 360
great!
Does this resistor issue throw up a 0100 secondry error code as well ??
Does it matter how many need to be shorted?
If someone could help me, i'd appreciate it. I can't seem to find those resistors. Yeah, I know where they should be, but my motherboard is very different. Is there any way to solve it? It just sucks because I find no information regarding to my specific motherboard
Had this exact problem a few years ago but didn’t take notice of it but now it only boots for 14 seconds and dies completely won’t boot again for a couple hours also there’s a hissing sound when power is connected
My xbox have red dot but not blinking..what seems to be the problem??
What Flux did you use?
Did you solder off the faulty resister and replaced with the wire? Or did you solder the wire on top of the resister?
same effect
How much i will buy for fix it ?
Recently changed the thermal paste but the temp is 65 to 80 ,but working fine, its normal or any kind of issues ? please reply
From my understanding, CPU temperatures for a stock 360 S generally hover between those numbers once it heats up.
Does the fan go up little by little or do you turn it on and the fan is already at maximum?
it should gradually increase speed if it's at max you have an issue.
@@NewsonsElectronics can you fix the issue if it’s a max speed if so can you make a tutorial
@@Frzbot same solution in the video.
@@NewsonsElectronics thank you
Than you so much i have the exact same problem i need to fix it
great hope it works out.
The right lights up then shuts down after 3 seconds
Is it necessary to remove all components before desoldering?
you can just solder them
@@NewsonsElectronics. Okay. I have another question: Are you just simply de-soldering and re-soldering the resistor, and nothing more here?
Nice pfp
@@eyelesscrown7346. Thanks. I get it a lot, lol. That’s strange; I have checked out one of your vocal isolation track videos before (I liked it) and we find ourselves interacting on such an unlikely video/topic. Do you use a program to be able to do that?
@@ADT2695 Haha that's crazy! Small world I guess. But yeah with the isolations I don't do it manually or use any programs. I rip the studio stems from the rockband/guitar hero games.
Any questions just ask them below.
@@ahmedalsoufi7574 it could be but if it comes again you know where to look.
I have a 2013 Xbox 360, I took mine apart and cleaned it thoroughly, but now I have the same error. I can't solder, is there any other way I can fix it?
@@jupitersspace2004 those resistors need to be shorted, a soldering irons should be relatively cheap
I’m having this issue but all resistors are reading 0, do I still need to short them or should I buy thermal paste then try that instead?
@@NewsonsElectronics all resistors read 0 ohms
You dont have to do all 6 resistors???
NO only the resistors that are not reading 0 ohms if you want you can do them all but no need.
@@NewsonsElectronics Thanks!!!
@@NewsonsElectronics how do i check resistors? Ohm meter one on each end?
@@etchosts8162 yes put it in ohms then put the probs at each end.
@@etchosts8162 you don't need to measure just short them out just in case, there is no real need to measure them
Oh those cuts... only parts are missing where you should see how to disassemble the hardest ones.
There two really great videos out there for that on CZcams, if you are having trouble with disassembly. Let me know if you need them.
The 360s is ridiculous to take apart wish they would simply these console so that anyone can just do regular cleaning maintenance on fans / heat sink etc.
this seems very complicated
Yeah, like why would I have this equipment just lying around lol
@@Art-st1yi everyone should have a soldering kit. Its an easy skill to learn and you can fix quite a few things with a basic one.
For example a capacitor blew on my xbox one console a while back. Instead of forking over for a new power unit i bought a pack of capacitors for less than a quid and just replaced them
It's not necessary to bridge the resistor. The Soldering has gone bad and it is enough to reflow with fresh solder. After that the resisor will read 0 ohms again. Problem solved and 360 will work again.
Thanks for the video!
That’s man ..
