There is so much to love with Dinosaur Jr but Lou's Bass playing is always energetic and helps to draw ya into the music.
DInosaur Jr. Is the most under-appreciated, under-rated band in the history of music period. Such amazing musicians!!!!
I wish people would stop with all this underrated nonsense. Music is art, it's subjective, you either like it or you don't, you shouldn't need your opinion backed up by other people's. If you think a band is great, they're never underrated.

Lou and Murph are such a talented and tight rhythm section.
Murph had a great teacher named J. Mascis.
I cant believe the f...g fun and happines of the people in this performance.
I saw them once. I was leaning on a stack of speakers taller then me with my back to it and eyes closed for a two songs. When I opened them up the band was still playing but J and Lou were both looking right at me. I smiled and just kept singing along with them. I know that I damaged my hearing. The sound and the vibrations beating me was unearthly.
After watching this 15 times, I suddenly noticed it was not filmed in color

@Tim Lachs, no your life doesn't suck. Your life does not depend on having a girlfriend. Nor a loud flat. Just start planning your life, one step at a time and you'll see things can get better. But you will have to fight for it. Don't expect everything to change without doing something about it. Start by walking an hour each day. When you walk, think about your goals, write them down. And then break down each goal into tiny bits you can actually can change. Do not give up. Ever.

I have to agree with Damian at the end. Dinosaur Jr. are one of the best live bands to ever do it. (I had the pleasure to see them live at Reading Festival in England.) Great vocal by the way, mate. 😎

J Mascis is a force...a true excellent guitarist! Saw them in the 80s and they were the loudest concert I have ever been to...including Ted, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith...the Dinosaur was MUCH louder than them.

6-7 band I listened too here and everyone sucks. The lyric "Just like the real thing," seams to be the motto for modern bands where they appear to be "playing," at being rock stars, where noise suffices for talent. Fortunately we still have the real thing.
