In my opinion the major graphical advantage of the pc is the post processing. Just look at those water reflections, they look absolutely amazing! For the rest I am satisfied with the ps4 version
and texture and resolution and AA. All of which thanks to youtube's low bitrate you won't see because it gets washed out.
***** cheating on PC is about the same level as Xone and PS4 give or take, especially now that all three are on the same instruction infrastructure and the xone and pc both use the same base OS kernel and drivers.
I find it funny how in PCvsXONEvsPS4 arguments PS4 and XONE guys scream that the other two platforms have tons of cheaters, yet till I gave up on the main FPS franchises people are always bitching about cheaters on THEIR platform.

The reason you don't see many is the same reason you don't see any on PC anymore. Networks are not designed to be private, when you log onto things like battle.net, they have your PC send information on all processes running, flag and ban those with discrepencies, typically in a GUI interface program aka overlay (such as aimbots and FPS counters)
Consoles are closed economy, low end, PC's. When they got rid of the powerPC and Cell instruction infrastructure of last gen and went to x86, they made cheating easier.

I'm impressed with how well this game runs on my PC in 1440p. My PC was fairly good a couple of years ago but a couple of years is ages in technology, so it sure isn't top of the line anymore. It's actually a pretty well optimised game.

Very impressed by how well the consoles hold up on the frostbite engine. Even more impressive is how well optimized the game is all the way around. At 1440p with my gtx1080 I am consistently over 80fps on ultra in campaign for the first few missions so far.

The post processing sequence was the only real and obvious difference I noticed. It's impressive how little difference there actually is. I rememer how BF3 felt really outdated when I played it on my PS3 compared with PC back in the days. With BF1 on the other hand, I have to say I'm really impressed how well PS4 and Xbox One keeps up with PC in ultra settings, at least when it comes to graphics.
You should really upload these in 4K to overcome CZcams's compression.

toddpop there is screenspace reflections on consoles but it is seems to be heavily pared back. It's probably equivalent PC's medium setting. But I'm not exactly sure.

OK, LETS BE HONEST HERE!!! This game looks amazing on all platforms, and aside from the post processing there isn't even a real big difference between the pc graphics and ps4/xb1. I must say i am amazed by the graphical capabilities of these platforms. Also a lot of credits to DICE for making a game that looks stunning, but is still managable for your hardware. That sweet spot is hard to find and i think DICE is nailing it in this case.
BUT!!! In the comments i already see people complaining about other platforms but here is THE ACTUAL TRUTH. PS4 and XB1 are not that different in terms of graphics. So i think people should not make a decision on what console to use based on graphics alone. Its purely what you prefer.
And then there is the comments about the PC version. People saying you pay much more for similar graphics. Also not true!!! If you are a good PC builder, you can make a PC for about the same money as a PS4 or XB1 and expect similar graphical capabilities and performance. But in conclusion, there is no discussion possible about the fact that BF1 will always look it best on a good PC. The core graphics will be similar, but a good PC can handle 4K gaming with all graphics on max and framerates above 60 fps. No way a console can do that.
Because i am a very big fan of BF1, and games in general, i would like the best of the best. Wich is, and always will be, pc. But is comes at a price. Either you think it's worth the money or not, there is no question that the best of the best results will only be achieved with pc.

For DICE games, you don't need a beefy computer to get good settings.
you should have added the second part of the tank level ... when you scout for the tank in the foggy forest bit. On PC that was the most realistic environment I have ever seen... with the mossy stones and what not.

have to ask how accurate is this. because i just watched the exact same clips by candyland showing different gfx level detail on the pc. just looks like these were possibly just taken from the pc low preset not from consoles as it says

probably not as much as with the PS4 vs Xbox One S and the upcoming Scorpio.
You as far as I know, this game doesn't run on a adaptive resolution, so the One S' graphics should be on pair with the original One. And the Scorpio is only coming next year. Also, remember that the PS4 Pro is almost being released and will run the game better on it.

I covered the top part of my screen to hide the platform of clip. And honestly, I could only notice 2 different platform. PS4 and XBOX One looked almost exactly the same in most cases.

The ps4 seems to always have a lack of anti-aliasing which bothers me to the core as a PC gamer. I mean, at least the Xbox One version looks cleaner in terms of jaggies and it seems to run smoother from the looks of digital foundry's video on bf1 on the Xbox One. Anyone complaining one or the other looks better, please jump off a cliff and land head first. They look virtually the same unless you count the PC version with a higher resolution than both console. At this point, the list goes

Another reason the Xbox One takes the cake is simply cause XBL isn't going down every other day like psn does and it's just faster than psn. PC takes the cake though.

I noticed that the XBOX ONE has a "blur effect" when comparing, which, in my opinion, adds a nice blend to the surrounding and makes it look more convincing than the others. 😆

Even though PC takes the spotlight, the Xbox One and the PS4 compete well against it. Most people have + $1000 rigs. A $300-$500 console that compares pretty decently is impressive

Play the game on PC or console of choice and have fun playing the game... this era of gaming is sad to be honest since more people now than ever pay more attention to the resolution on display as well as the fps of the game OVER the actual gameplay and game itself!? I play video games for the games! If they run terrible and the experience sucks then ya the game is broken.. in this case battlefield looks phenomenal on console and runs great and doesn't break immersion or feel like a terrible experience because it's on console..

Dynamic resolutions too keep a stable frame rate, and despite that I've seen this game drop to 27FPS on the PS4. It's pretty obvious that this game was supposed to be clocked at 30fps, at least then it wouldn't be such a performance mess on consoles. Also if you're gonna comment that graphics don't matter, then why the hell are you watching a graphics comparison video?!?

LungSusage That's BS.. Xbox one can't handle this game at 60fps, and if you haven't seen any frame rate drops, then you are either lying about testing it, or you need to get your eyes checked.. But then again, I don't know what you consider "Solid fps" but it's definitely not 60. But at least the Xbone doesn't have the bug where the resolution drops to 160x90 (That's not a typo, It literally drops to 160x90p on the PS4), well anyways, it's probably gonna get fixed soon. But I still don't buy the fact that you stated that the game doesn't drop any frames..

At 1080p you should be able to run it, the recommended specs are i7-4790, 16 GB RAM, a 1060 (3GB) and Windows 10. Though you may not see a great framerate at high settings, though turning some things down will help. But if you have at least a "good" i7 processor, definitely able to run it.

Motolover It's as simple as going to the settings and it's usually under display, visual, or graphics (sometimes advanced graphics) settings. You can just select to turn down the overall settings (from high medium or something) or if it seems to run fine maybe just turn off anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering

The most significant difference from my own experience is the frame rate. When I play the game on xbox, for instance, the frame rate is very unsteady and lots of stuttering is present, though I did not notice it until i had played the game on my PC at over 100 fps.

When you do the math, PC is cheaper, assuming you have absolutely NO PC components not even a windows license then you're looking at a $500-$600 purchase for the whole rig brand new that would absolutely max this game at 1080p. But in the vast majority of cases people have left over components which brings a PC upgrade down to a simply buying a new GPU such as the beast price/conformance RX 480 which is the recommend GPU for BF1. That's a $200 GPU.

They're 60fps on consoles also. At least aimed to be, right now PS4 hangs around 55fps 900p. But beefier the PC, bigger the difference. Good experience overall.

for me the only actual important difference is the water effects, everything else is very similar (texture quality on pc is much better but your less likely to notice when you start playing)

Jesus guys the consoles have 5 year old hardware back in 2013. Why not compare them to GTX 700 series and Intel Core i7 4th gen instead then the comparison will be fair. PC users upgrade theor PC at least once every 2 years whether its CPU/GPU or additional RAM stick.
Sadly hard drive is the only option to upgrade for your base PS4/XBOX or you are forced to buy PS4 Pro or Xbox One S/X
PC definitely seems more sharp compared to the P4 and X1. Wish I could afford a decent build, but at the same time I'm so used to using controllers I don't think I'd like a mouse / keyboard for shooters. I love PC strat games and MMOs though.
