These videos are priceless, why is it taking years for anyone to see them and comment? Sometimes Conrad needs to keep more distance between him and the people he's interviewing so they won't complain that he's touching them. I've seen this before with other politicians.

You can have affirmative action without quotas. The U.S. has affirmative action without quotas.

I am an American, so I am 'into the Americanism thing'. I lived in South Africa with family for several years, but moved back to the US a few years ago. My S. African family is of British descent, partly via the US, and has been in SA since the Boer war. I am not understanding why you are so critical of people expressing themselves. Is there something wrong with someone trying to cultivate their own persona? All cultures are not created equal. Western culture is the most successful in the world.

South Africa can't learn from the policies of the United States. Good ideas in government in one country can often be replicated in another.
South Africa is not neocolonised. South Africa is firmly within the grip of Anglosphere and the United States and the United Kingdom are the dominant cultural heavyweights, so your bound to feel their influence if you partake in English language media. In addition, South Africa's largest private employer and taxpayer is Anglo-American, so go figure.
