So, the moment of truth - does the Ensley Reign Cosmetics Cold Moon Eyeshadow Palette get a pass from a colour lover like myself? The Cold Moon palette contains 10 cool toned mattes and 11 sparkly shimmers in different formulas. Watch this video to find out if it's worth the hefty price tag or not! In this video you can expect some swatches, looks and a honest review. Let me know if you did pick up this palette or not in the comments.
On Ensley Reign's website, it says that the Cold Moon palette has "4 multidimensional holochrome, 1 multichrome, 3 duochromes, 2 ultra sparkly shimmers, and 1 classic satin shimmer" - but in this video I said that there only was 3 shimmer formulas, so keep that in mind!
I did also pick up 4 single eyeshadows from Ensley Reign, Frosty Eclipse + Nordic Breeze (Cold moon collection), Fairy Lights and Pink Lemonade.

You probably know I have been very critical of this brand bc of driving up the cost of all indie brands, but you’re one of the only ones I truly trust and believe their opinions 💗💗
Wow, this comment made my day Aleisha! 💜 So the term "worth it?" is so very subjective because both you and me know very well that there is affordable brands like Profusion that pumps out amazing palettes. So you can definitely get those affordable palettes and make pretty looks with them. And I'm sure there is indie brands that has equally as good formula as ER but at a cheaper price. For me it has so far only been the brands that handpress their eyeshadows (and then buying singles can get very expensive aswell). I guess I should have highlighted more in the video that you're paying for the whole experience in my opinion. It feels well thought out while some brands just sends the products in bubble wrap (nothing wrong with that, but the experience will be different). Then add the experience with the nice formulas, it's kind of hard to beat that feeling. I wish that I could afford to buy you a palette so you could try it out for yourself 🤭💜

I agree about Ensley Reign Cosmetics. I have been collecting the palettes since the once with Brittany Hoffman and the quality is there. I may not love all the color stories the same but I haven't been disappointed. Cold Moon is still on my dining room table to try out. I swatched it back in January and I was so excited about it. I use a random generator to select what palette I try next though.

I love this color story, it is unique! I may have to put this on my wish list. I love the art on the box. I know its an unpopular opinion but AI Art is here to stay! Its just the matter of having it incorporated someway into certain mediums. You have to have the vision to prompt AI to get the art you want. I can see someone who paints in oils, taking their images into AI to stylize it in other ways to fit their brand and to reach a broad audience.
Yes, it's a super complex discussion. The other day I did hear from a music company that are planning to implement AI songs in their "albums", so I'm sure that it's here to stay. It's faschinating and scary at the same time. 🙈 And yes, this palette is actually more unique than I expected! 😍
