    I just submerged my Tacoma in water, I don’t think any water got into the intake.. a few weeks after I dried out the interior it stopped starting. What else did you have to do to get yours going?

      Well have you changed the oil? And air filter and spark plugs you should start with that if not I would take it ti a mechanic sorry for the late response

    If you buy the OEM spark plugs do u have to change the gap of the spark plugs?

      I believe they are calibrated already but it’s always good to double check them

    How many miles were on the vehicle at the time of replacement?

      @@hangover123111 I’m getting mine replaced at 47k miles because I am noticing a lack of power and reduced fuel eco as well as a rougher idle.

      Did you use it a lot off-roading? And are you doing it through warranty?

      @@hangover123111 I am not doing it through warranty as it’s not covered and it’s recommended to be replaced at 60k howeverthe vehichle has been used a good amount and it has idled a lot of hours on it and so unfortunately it needs to be done before 50k

      yea true but wanted to see if that would help a little since I submerged this thing in water lol but next step is to take it into a mechanic 😩

      @@shawntaylor6246 well the plastic part that’s above the wheel can’t remember the name brain fart but it came off and it had an opening straight to the intake.As I enter the puddle many times not just once it eventually got into the motor I opened up the intake and the filter was drenched and it showed signs in the throttle body that water had entered. The truck recently just gave out (motor) I have another video on that

      Yes the engine is changed! Got a motor by the border in cali with 9k miles on it and a new tranny
