Thank you mark, as an aspiring Heli pilot you are teaching me through your videos even though you have passed on. Our physical bodies may pass but our legacies live on. Rest easy.
Mark was in fatal crash at an airshow Oshkosh 2023, Rip Mark , very missed pilot.
Mark awesome video! Keep them coming
Great video Mark!! Keep up the awesome work!! 🚁
Great video Mark, look forward to getting back in the cockpit
Very informative and interesting.
Folley...nice area...weve been to Fairhope a few times. nice down there.
Thank you for the information.
Very good
So if I were to purchase a Rotorway, I could get my heli PPL in it?
You don’t need a ppl
Mark that looks expensive, you are the instructor I would want. Waffel dog is the place to chew on chow .
I'm curious how are you doing training in a experimental aircraft? Is this just transition training?
As per the FAA regulations per E-AB aircraft, flight instructors can provide primary flight training in the E-AB aircraft that is owned by the training pilot. Transition training can be provided to rated helicopter pilots in the RotorWay/RotorX I own provided the CFI owner has a FAA LOA.
I want to come and train, how much does it cost?
What year model is this? I see the straight gear on it.
I think this is Collier Airpark on Mannich Ln.
Yes this Collier AirPark 2AL1
@@AirMark Mark, I saw you had one for sale in Barnstormers. Still got it?
RIP Mark..
Are you on the same field as Mark Sprigg?
No Mark Sprigg is at KJKA, now called Gulf Shores International Airport.
Rip Mark , very missed pilot
Sounds weird going to the runway to lift-off a helicopter.
RIP
Why aren't the needles married in this helo?
What a legend. take the heli to waffle house! awesome
That 'EXPERIMENTAL' word needs to disappear as it frightens some people and there is no way this helicopter is an experimental helicopter for the length of time it has been in service.
It is well proven and has mechanically advanced over time to become a reliable machine.
The word RECREATIONAL' would be appropriate.
Sorry, but the rules are the rules. Any Experimental-Amateur Built aircraft that can carry at least one passenger is required (by FARs) to display the word “EXPERIMENTAL” in plain sight of the passenger. But your point is well-taken as these are well-designed. That said, you just never know what skill level the builder possesses when you crawl into one that they built compared to a factory-built aircraft with proper QC checks in place.
Maybe put in Japanese or something like that hehe
Why fly under the powerlines when you could just wheel it passed them? Seems like poor planning
Sounds like an unrefined piece of junk
So do you.
If that’s all u had to say u could’ve kept ur comment
Some people can't afford a second mortgage for a bell or robinson. You can't beat what you get here for the price imo unless you stay fixed wing.
