Nice game guys! Building X spell Tyranids myself. Using umbral mantle + kinnan/leyline of abundance to loop magus lucea kane for infinite x spells created.

@@moos138 kinnan/leyline lets lucea tap for 3 and umbral mantle when equipped costs 3 to untap lucea, you can infinitely do that for infinite lucea triggers

I have a stong magus deck, it’s just so slow to start.
If I get behind a player that makes me sacrifice a creature each turn. I’ve already lost

Would aetherflux reservoir do 50 before the response resolves or afterwards? And when it resolves afterwards wouldn’t it have killed the other player too?

Magus is fun. Yes I ramped like crazy and had all my copy spells stuff out but I was able to cast Jaya’s immolating inferno X =19, copied 6 times, so 7 total. Pretty sure my math was correct but I had twinning staff out and unbound flourishing. I tap lucea, get 1 copy with her and another with twinning staff, untap her with Kiora’s follower then tap again and get another two copies same as before, then a copy from unbound flourishing and twinning staff. And even if I got my math wrong and should only get 5 copies, I still would’ve won, even in a 5 person game.

I love this channel but I hate that take back when Ward triggers, it would counter that Rift. You can’t counter a spell with an ability and then say “oh then I won’t target it I’ll do something else”. If ward triggers and you can’t pay, thats an error.
Thanks Joshua! And yeah, in a tournament for sure that would be the case, but when you're chilling with your friends it's really up to the playgroup. We were all cool with it :)
