Anyhoo, here's the original description.
This is an arrangement for orchestra, choir and solo trumpet of an older piece of music of mine called Meditation for a Lost Pup, originally written for piano and flute. Here it is slightly expanded upon and given a lush choir to really add some weight to the crunchy chords that start the piece (Bmaj7 - G#m11 - Emaj#11 - C#m7). I just really like this one. I made me happy how it turned out. - Hudba

Hello, I know it was probably a pain-in-the-ass to reupload with a different image. . . But do you have a link to the OG image? Just. . . The imagery of the three pure white fluffy dogs in the darkness was so oddly ethereal, it matched the song so well. I just wanted to get a link to it maybe.

I read the book, Deerskin, due to someone's comment on the original upload. I bought it immediately after that and it took me a week and a half to finish (I only read it during lunch breaks at work) and I knew I had to come back to the video where I found the recommendation. I couldn't find it in my watch history, any of my playlists, or my liked videos. I thought I was going insane. I get on my computer where I had originally found the video, and through my search history I finally came across it again.
So worth it. This song is perfect for Deerskin, and is a wonderful composition.
I already asked another comment, but could you tell me what age rating it would be? I’m wondering if i should read it, but i am quite young and do not want to read it if it is not age appropriate. Thank you!
Ok I'll say it in case the person who originally commented wont comment on the reupload. Basically there is a novel called Deerskin, its about a Princess and a lot of really horrific things happen to her, but through it all she has a faithful hound named Ash who is basically the one constant in her life and the etherial music really matches with the somber tone, as well as the original cover image looks just like rex. Idk, i dont remember the comment perfectly. I just know that it was beautiful enough that I bought the book, but it hasnt arrived yet. I hope the original commenter can repost their comment because they can articulate themselves better than I probably can. (*Edit, I corrected the name of the novel) (**Edit, fixed name of dog)
I should note the music also sounds triumphant and heroic in a way, but that's me. Isn't it funny how I can't really remember the comment that well yet it has still affected me? Idk, I just really want to read this book.

Wait... Deerskin by Robin McKinley??? I read that when I was younger! (Kinda scarred me a bit... really was NOT meant for kids. oof.) She's one of my favorite authors. 😌😌😌 Everything she writes is so whimsical!

My girl is here right now. I am lucky. I wish I could give her a better freedom. A bigger home, longer walks, a place to run as fast as she would like. But I do know that I am giving her as much love as I could even in the biggest penthouse with the greenest grass. I am giving her as much love when I take her for a walk on the damp pavement as I would if I could take her through fields of soft grasses. I am giving her more love than I give myself. And she is living so much more life in this short time we have together than I ever could.
She is a good dog.
And the best part is: She wouldn't want to be anywhere else. She's living with the person who she loves the most and can do no wrong, and she appreciates everything you do for her.

I was horrified to see that the original video was taken down and was scrambling to try to figure out where I could find this song again. I'm glad it's back :)
My dog was still alive when this was first posted, but she passed two weeks ago, and it was recommended to me again the same day. Nobody grieves the same way, but this song helped me to process her loss as a faithful companion for almost 16 years, and I hope it does for others. I will always miss my girl.

It got striken, and that's life. The person who struck it was right to strike it down, so we just keep on moving on. During this week, I'll most likely scrub through my uploads and reupload a bunch of pieces, and delete old videos to avoid this. Life goes on ^^

My dog hasn't passed yet, and I think we have a good bit more time together, but he is getting old and this song was recommended to me during a time when his age really started to set in for me. This song is like a wonderful finale; the end of a beautiful story.

This song in particular, to me, is reminiscent of the score for Disco Eysium when you’re running around Revoshol. The trumpets have a reveille for a time of pride and honor, almost like a longing call to the old times… this is good work, and I’m sorry your upload got pulled down because I know you had lots of views on that upload. Still very good work though, keep it up!

Probably even hunting various ghouls within the woods of Middle Earth like the lands of Tar Nu Fuin. Some say these hounds too were formally Maiar as the ainur were known to be shapeshifters by nature. Huan is as we say “The Best GoodBoy ever.”

this made me remember about a video i encountered a while ago, the one who posted it said that it came from an old camera tape that they thrifted, and the only video it had inside was dated from like 99 or something which had a video of a family in a park somewhere at noon, playing with their dog, the dog was all happy and running and it was a cute moment.

Late to comment here but thank you for this piece! I’ve been using it for a table top character who is a magical girl, and the character is a “prince” type who is loyal and tragically so, this music has been a huge inspiration for the character. It suits her so well. Keep up the good work ❤

It has compelled me to begin writing again, for the first time in over a decade.
The story is one of someone who has been manipulated, psychologically to the state of a dog -- a hound -- in a science fiction setting. It is loosely inspired by the implied but never explored narritive of the recent Armored Core 6 story trailer.
The focus isn't on any kind of fighting, but the exploration of grief and regret: the relationship of the handler and the hound, and the difficulty with losing someone you know was an abuser as a survivor.
A short story was all I intended, but its fast becoming my ninth novel. Maybe the first I've ever genuinely really cared about like this.
Without Meditation for a Lost Pup, and Elegy for a Faithful Hound I do not think I could have begun writing, and working through my experiences, and the loss of my husband.
I'm sorry if this is oversharing, or inappropriate, but learning once that my own writing many many years ago had enabled someone else to work through their difficulties was one of the most powerful things I had heard in my life, and it was why I became a writer.
If I can share even a hundredth of that feeling with you, I think it is good to do so.

This music piece is so beautiful and ethereal that I kept coming back to relisten to it over and over again. I panicked when I realized it vanished from my playlist and history and had to make a few desperate "borzoi song" searches before I scrolled onto this one, and let me tell you, the amount of relief I felt when I recognized those first few notes was almost tangible.
