- Hey party people! thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new easter prep video with you!! We had a pretty large gathering and it felt so good to do it after a couple of years of keeping things intimate and family only! It was such a lovely day filled with friends and family, fun and sun! I kept the food super simple and my expectations low because I knew I would be feeding a crowd; cafeteria style! haha but also wanted to keep things holiday friendly! It was Easter after all and I wanted to serve out of real dishes and not the containers! You know... semi homemade style! That's my style. haha Making Sandra Lee proud for sure! thanks so much for being here for it and for celebrating Easter weekend with us! I hope you had a great Easter weekend!

Aww shes so lucky to have that. My moms passed one and never met my kids. My sister goes to her bf family all the time. My dad is still in fl for easter. So we just have my in laws and thats it.

It’s the moms who let their Easter extravaganzas get out of control and then tear up thinking about all the fun their kids are having with family that are making lifelong memories for their kids! I’m guessing your sister was looking down from heaven smiling watching her nieces and nephew having a grand old time 💜
Making MEMORIES for years to come. Now that, is something, that is priceless! Especially, you get to watch it over and over and find new happenings that you and Alex, the kiddos, and guests may have missed in the heat of the moment. Great job Wadsworth Fam! Many more Happy Easter's in days to come!
LOL! You sound like me when I plan my son's birthday parties... Every year, I'm like... "We're just gonna do something simple... I don't want to spend too much..." Next thing, I'm renting out movie theaters and hosting parties that literally last all day and end up being full of adventures 😂 - Keep going all out - these kids grow up soon enough ❤
Hahaa yea glad I’m not the only one!! And I realized I didn’t even share the story about how it got out of hand, but regardless we were thankful to have everyone there and enjoying themselves!! And you’re right, kids are I my little so auch a short amount of time ♥️♥️
@@thewadsquad Hahaha!! It happens to all of us! I had a party for my oldest and middle since it was right in the middle of both birthdays and them moving up to the next level in schools. (Middle school & Elementary) well.......a party for approx 20 ended up being a party for over 50! I was so glad I over planned because everyone ate and I had plenty of party favors for the kiddos and games!! This was in a small backyard in NYC! Fun fun fun! By the way, that was my favorite dress....purple!!

Aww, I feel how happy you were. You may have wished you got more pictures, but you can tell you got the right ones. That fraction of a second before you cut away while looking at family got me, like really got me emotional. These are the days your kids will remember for their lifetime. I loved everything about this video but especially your heartfelt reaction when looking at pictures on your phone of family and your kids. For most of us, the last 2 and half years changed us, reminded us of the importance of family and friends and gatherings, etc. As stressful as it was considering how sick you have been, I am so happy things turned out so well for you. ❤
Seeing you so very joyful at spending the day with your family touched me so deeply. Unfortunately most of my family has passed on, so family holidays can be a lonely affair (thank goodness for hubby and the two kids!). Hearing how deeply you appreciate the time you got to share together was just... wow.. thanks Kim so very much for sharing. You've brought joy to my heart today. "not your best video" pffftt.. real and from the heart is always the best! Thats why we love you.
It was so sweet hearing you talk about your children interacting with their cousins(I assume). Family relationships are the most important to nurture and help grow.
My twin sister had a girl, boy, girl,. The same as I did, although her first was 18 months older. They got closer in age after that. We have so many photos and videos of them playing together. They were extremely close as children, and the girls still are, even though they now have children of their own! It may be because we're twins, but it made both of us so very happy, that they LOVED spending any time they could together, as we live 4 hours apart.

I love seeing you so excited about your day. It is wonderful how big your yard is and the time, both you and Alex, put into the day. We had a nice quiet day, our son, that lives local, came home. We watched the Met’s game and the NASCAR race, then spoke to my son and daughter-in-law, who live out of state. The day before Christmas, I suffered a Subarachnoid Aneurysm and spent 4 weeks in the hospital and rehab, so I am just grateful to be here to celebrate with my family. Your gathering was so entertaining, thank you so much for sharing❤️🤗
Very fortunate. We live so far away from family reluctantly for the last 3 years so weve not had any holidays with family or friends for that long. It's hard to think about but we are saving up our love for the move back to family and friends. Those kind of gatherings are so so precious and too many people take it for granted seeing your loved ones whenever you want. I started welling up just before you did because I can imagine the joy it must have been and how joyful it will be for my kids when the day comes finally.
You are just a Blessing and Thank you for sharing your joy with us.I live alone so we have church in our apartment building so that's about all I did was go to Church but God's good and I'm thankful to watch everyone else family on you tube 😊 ☺ ❤ 🙏 💖 💕

I totally get why you became emotional talking about the kids cousins. I live for all my grandkids getting together, and they all have an unbreakable bond that they have carried thru from babies to teenagers 💕
I doesn't have any plans to Easter (we will have it this weekend). I love how Easter is so fun and there is so much activity for the kids. For me all my childhood preparing for Easter was way more fun, that the holiday itself: helping my mom with baking, painting eggs; while on Easter we just visited our relatives and that was it. I hope if I ever have kids, I would be able to bring them at least half of the joy, you bring for yours. You inspire me so much, thank you!
After see so much straggle I just have to share this with you. Lifehack that changed my life with eggs:
crack them and put back to water and let sit for a few minutes (or as mush time as you want or need). After that any egg peels nicely. If you do not care how the will look like you can just put lead on top and shake to smash.
It is so nice of you and your family to host/hostess and share your space, time, and kindness with so many people.
Kim you’re the best mom. The amount of time and creativity you put into holidays/birthdays is above and beyond. Making some amazing memories!

When I watch you or some of the other people I watch entertaining as much as you do it warms my heart cause that is exactly how we are I love receiving people and always creating new recipes I grew up in a house that never slept swear we had close to a revolving door one coming in one coming out, after what the world has been through in the last two years its nice to be able to have friends and family get togethers
I don't care what I'm doing when eggs are done, I am peeling them almost immediately. Nothing worse than picking the shells off those dang eggs. Bless your heart. For that many people you need the #10 size can of green beans. Unfortunately, my husband doesn't like green bean casserole, so we never have it. Sad. That looks like the Pampered Chef Trifle bowl. Just missing the pedestal. Such a cute family photo. Your picture is real life. Your house is "the" house to be at for all the holidays. Sounds like everyone had a great time. We haven’t been doing parties lately, but when we did, the closest friends and family would “co-host” with us and vice versa. We would be in the kitchen cooking and cleaning while the host was talking with the guests. It’s like a tradition for us.
Even with all the help, it was still a lot of work. I don’t know how you can do all of this by yourself, Kim!

I feel ya!! I dropped with my butta fingas a whole full glass pyrex container full of mashed potatoes on my kitchen floor. That was a fun mess to clean up.....all was going great until the end.....I ended up with a tiny shard poking me in my heel! I was wearing shoes so how????? LOL Hoping everyone who got injured making their families yummy food, heal quickly!!

Wow! Now that’s a party! Great job Kim and Alex! Everything looked amazing! Making memories with family is the best! Love y’all’s house and yard! We had a similar family get together for Good Friday. My niece and her family throw an annual Good Friday fish fry and crawfish boil and this was the 10th annual party. People will bring more food and desserts, food for days! She even designed T-shirts for the event. Easter Bunny was there as well with a set up for photos. My niece is a photographer so the set ups were very professional. Was so nice to get a cute family photo. It was a special day! I’m so glad your party was a huge success. 🤗

Kim, it looks like you threw such a nice celebration! I've never hosted anything quite THAT large, but we do bigger gatherings from time to time. I know how stressful that lead up to it is, where you're asking yourself why on earth you agreed to this, but your joy and emotion talking about it after the fact is exactly why! It's such an awesome feeling when it's over and everything went well and people really enjoyed themselves. Love that. Happy Easter!

You could be describing a potatto bag for 30 minutes and I would still enjoy it because i love your energy. Loved how you talked about you and everyone had fun. That's important!

I didn't notice outfits, I saw lots of smiles and tons of joy. Eleanor reminds me of you so much in her picture. That girl can strike a pose. I also saw a beautiful family, tons of happy and an injured mom that would probably do it again in a heartbeat. Kim, you and Alex blessed a ton of people.
