    The lamp room already looks amazing. It must be tempting to light them all simultaneously. It'd look incredible. Reminds me that I really need to do something with the lamps that won't fit in my living room as they're currently taking up every inch of floor space in the two spare bedrooms.

    Nice work and awesome lamp! I wanted to tell you that I acquired a Model B nu-type chicago refrigerator burner and cleanly desoldered the flange. I now have it working perfectly on a Genie II fount.

    Can you recommend a good reference chart for flame temperatures of different fuels? eg. K1, paraffin lamp oil, stoddard solvent

    2:15, what's the history of the lamp in the middle, next to the tiny one, it looks so nice and ive not seen a shade like that before

      Yes, it’s a strange shade setup. Home made from I can gather . It’s a Little Jewel lamp.

      My Dad was a prolific Bottle and antique collector.
      Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.
      It started with one lamp.
      I guess I wanted to collect practical things.
