These videos are too short & not thorough enough. Moreover you need an international focus. The asx has been a dreadful performer going side ways for 16 years. Look at the pre gfc high reached in 2007. Took 15 years to get back to that point.
International companies are much more interteresting.
    To name a few:
    Johnson & Johnson
    Medtronic
    Intuitive surgical
    Apple
    Microsoft
    Nvidia
    Tiawan semi conductors
    Amsl
In Australia there are only a dozen companies that sell an inspirational product to the rest of the world whereas in the US there are at least a 100.

On the other hand you can find tons of youtube stuff about Apple, Nvidia, etc., but not so much about Aussie stocks.

@@theBeat2 Australian stocks are generally poor. Look at the asx its gone sideways. If you put a 100 dollars in it in Nov 2007 it would have taken approx 15 years to recover back to a 100 dollars.
If you took inflation into account of say 3 per cent then the purchasing power of that 100 dollars has been obliterated.
In other words our stock market has a dreadful recent history

Dividends and franking credits mean the after tax returns for Aussie investors in the index are not far off the US return.
