It’s been over two years since the original AirPods were released, and they’ve quickly become the most popular pair of wireless headphones in the world. So many people, my self included, have been waiting patiently for a refresh. And that’s exactly what Apple gave us on March 20th, although the product didn’t receive as dramatic a change as some expected. That’s why many reviewers are calling these the AirPods 1.5, because supposedly next year Apple will release new AirPods again. Except with major changes like a design overhaul, a black option, a matte finish, and maybe even touch controls. But for now, let’s unbox these new AirPods, see what they can do, and compare them to the original.
Now these new generation of AirPods are the first to offer buying options. You can get them with a wireless charging case for $200, a standard charging case for $160, or you can buy the wireless charging case by itself for $80 and use it with your previous generation AirPods. But one thing you cannot do is put a first and second generation AirPod in the same case. I bought the $200 model with a wireless charging case from my local Apple Store the day they went on sale, and I didn’t run into any issues with limited stock like I did back in 2016 with the original AirPods. - Věda a technologie

To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. czcams.com/users/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.
I think the magnets should’ve stayed the same, or at least make the lid harder to open so they don’t scatter when dropped

What about the noise floor and on/off popping? On the AirPods 1, it’s impossible to listen at below 25% volume.

Don't get the AirPod Pros. The design is really ugly.
I have the Series 2 Wireless charging, and my top clicks when I move it from side to side. Apparently it was not fixed on all cases.

It still clicks when the case is closed, you likely got one that doesn't. Doesn't necessarily it's fixed.
So if I've never bought AirPods, and I don't have a wireless charging pad (thing), then what would be best for me? I've heard that the 1st generation is worse. But I don't know. I need help. 1st or 2nd generation??
Just received the air pods. linked to my apple phone. When both are inserted only the right pod works. I f i take out the right pod the left one works. Any suggestions???

I disagree. I prefer his original style of content delivery, it made this channel a bit more unique. The problem is that there are too many unboxing channels on CZcams. Also, this unboxing video is literally no different from any other big CZcamsr out there doing these style of videos.
@@DukeDresari i agree but. I saw some other ipod 2 unboxing videos and none of them were as informative as this one so I felt his twist in the video which I liked. And I understand that what is usually does makes him stand out so I'm happy as long as he does both. If I have to choose one, only then would I choose his original usual content over the unboxing videos.

@@KevinRodriguezYT well i got them the day before they were officially realesed, and since then i love them, i have an android (razer phone) and my only issue is about 3 out of 10 times, they pair out of sync, other than that ive known to wear them for a full album off of youtube (12 songs, about 40 mins) and put em right back in the case and an hour later they were full hahaha, i love em, the sound is a bit different, i feel they are a bit washed out, (sound wise) but after a while they sounded normal, im pretty happy with them, battery has never been an issue and i cant say many bad things about em.
Because i have 1st gen 4 months old, they last me 3.5hours straight, i thought 5 hours🤔

Firsttimegettindunkkindanervous i use my airpods 2 on my iphone 6s plus so it will work on iphone 7 also. If you want you can check it on the site of apple but my airpods work fine for my iphone 6s plus. I have read u need atleast iphone 5 so yeah they will work
AirPods use Bluetooth so basically any Bluetooth device including your iPhone 7 can be used.

You're basically paying extra for the case, i.e the ability to charge wirelessly which was unavailable in the previous model

Do you think it’s worth it to pick them up now (mid-September 2019)? My beats x just broke after close to 2 years of having them and I love the ease of use from Bluetooth headphones. I’m on the market for Bluetooth headphones and I’m not sure if I want to go back to beats again (sound quality was above average, but in the end I was just paying for the brand) and I don’t have the budget for over-the-ear ones like the Sony’s or the Bose. I want the AirPods but I’m not sure if it would be worth for me to wait until the next generation, and I’m also not sure how the sound quality is either. Thanks for any advice!
