For the people saying watch naruto and you would know, I have watched naruto and Shippuden 4 times over. Don't get me wrong I like Shippuden more, but I'm still curious on people's opinions. For those who say the show is too futuristic what are you on about?
In 1983 the 1G phones were Introduced in the mid ninety nineties we got 2G phone. Life is all about bettering electronic, ways we produce items like food, power, shelter. Society becomes better industrially.
I also would have liked to see the first wars more, see more of the life of Rasa the fourth Kasekage.
Maybe someday we will see more of the past instead of future.

The Uzumaki could literally summon death. I understand why they were a threat but I wish Naruto got to learn at least a few Uzumaki techniques. Even Minato learned a few sealing jutsu from Kushina and that’s how the village was saved from the 9 tails

A lot of this is head canon… Mito wasn’t sold to konoha… she was a powerful ninja herself after the first great ninja war a lot of the Uzumaki migrated to Konoha for protection, while others stayed in Uzushiogakure, a country on the outskirts of konoha that was eventually destroyed, the few that were left after the massacre moved into konoha or throughout the work in secret and changed their names. One thing I can’t get over is if the Uzumaki clan was so notorious if Naruto went around saying his name wouldn’t people outside the village have recognized that last name from history I love Naruto but there is so much inconsistency with that series
I would have liked to see an arc where someone tries to revive the Uzumaki Clan.

I also love Naruto easily top 5 if not top 3 of ALL anime there is, but I would specially love it if they could fix some of those inconsistencies with the greatest minds of mangakas to aid it be as great and amazing while also remaining logical and witty. Yeah the inconsistency is due to ret-conning stuff and and not having established old lore. So they're trying to sprinkle in old lore as they go 😂 (they didn't think that far ahead, I don't blame them they prob didn't expect the series to get this big in the first place)
Only the elders, danzo, hiruzen and maybe the 3 legendary sanin know about or heard about them. I'm not sure if any of the sanin where even born before the extinct of the uzumaki clan, but surely orochimaro would know everything cause he's always researching. Anyway my point is no one from kakashi or naruto generation knows anything about the uzumaki clan so despite naruto saying that last name they still don't see it as unique. The only character in the anime who naruto fight on would probably know much about is clan is kakuzu from the akatsuki. For example in the boruto anime no one from boruto era know anything about the uchiha clan
@@kamarmclean5518 That’s head canon… kakashi literally knows about Kushina Uzumaki and the sealing techniques… His sensei was Minato… you know the 4th Hokage… the main point you should take away is the inconsistencies in backstory after Naruto found out who his dad was the whole village was like well he knows now we can just talk about it… EVERYONE KNEW they were just ordered by the third not to talk about it which is retrospect makes him a terrible Hokage… oh no we will just revere his father as the greatest hero of the village erase his wife and Naruto’s mom from existence as if the whole village didn’t know who she was… tell me how that plays out as to nobody knew… they all knew THE WHOLE VILLAGE KNEW they were under orders to not talk about it BUT outside the village the land of lightning knew her name and kidnapped her before Minato killed them… plus Uzishiogakure was still around while she was alive and it fell shortly after not much is know about the village outside of that… Nagato and Karin are also Uzumaki who changed their names to survive after the fall so they are a well documented clan outside konoha.
Also people do know about the uchiha clan it’s public record sadara even asks her dad about the clan outside of the books she’s read
It’s stated that the Uzumaki clan are relatives to the Senju clan that’s why they kept up ties.
Hashirama was dead by the time the Uzumaki got wiped out though & If he was alive I don’t think he would’ve let them die. The clan most likely got detroyed during the 3rd shinobi world war because when Kushina transfers to the hidden leaf the clan is still around.
The other villages allied to take them out because the were small but also huge threat to them.
So my theory is that the leaf not aiding the Uzumaki was purely a strategic move ( with Danzo’s influence being behind the decision of course), they couldn’t wage war on multiple battlefronts because they were occupied with protecting their own village and fighting against the Hidden Stone village, Cloud village & Hiden mist village
Plus knowing that Hiruzen was the Hokage at the time, even if he elected to aid the clan we all know that Danzo will always find a way to supersede him.
Naa donzo was more of teenage so he didn't have much power but he was building it. Thanks to orochimaru aswell and fact he was marked as elder of village that's how bad it was he was careful hiding any intent he had but even 3rd hokage learnt and believed he was behind few bad shit even his own assassination but he didn't do shit that's why I disliked old man heccould of I mean elders only their for advice while hokage is leader u within 1st hokage lesson protect leaf no matter what even if it means ending a friend and donzo was a friend in a way to 3rd. Reason was uzumaki was skilled in many things and in sealing but still leaf should of prote t few of their people I mean they were talented. But even I admit some were dangerous but donzo was more dangerous he made pain with obito behind scene lol he was after the rinnagan I think he learnt of eyes and wanted them.

Danzo attempting to assassinate Hiruzen is not canon that was filler.
The Uzumaki were attacked during war so it would’ve been risky for the Leaf to try to protect the clan, attack their enemies and protect the leaf village at the same time. Plus they already had Kushina who was the next in line to be Jinjuriki.
Danzo wasn’t working with Obito he was working Hanzo, but his actions did help in creating Pain because he came with the plan to kill the leader of the Akatsuki (Yahiko).
hiruzen was the worst and most useless hokage so this theory is plausible
it might have been slightly after or Minato/Kushina's idea that having him be labeled an Uzumaki being safer than Namikaze is flawed.

Let's see: Danzo outed Naruto to the entire village, coerced Itachi into killing his family and clan, conspired with Orochimaru, instigated with the Akatsuki and the rain village, threatened an orphanage into doing his dirty work, willing to let an entire village be destroyed. That man cared nothing about the leaf village nor the shinobi world, he's just a sad, bitter old man filled with jealousy and I'm glad he got taken out before the war, because he would've gotten Naruto to do his dirty work, that arm with the stolen Sharingan, he was gonna use Naruto to wipe out anyone who was a threat.
And these are the people Minato and Kushina entrusted to watch Naruto, he would've been better off with Jiraiya from the beginning.
All Hiruzen did for Naruto was leave him a roof over his head and a monthly pay to live off of, he couldn't even look him in the eye and tell a lie about his parents.
The thing is that if you look at the ruins of the uzumaki clan they looked to be more advanced than the other natuto pre hokage era.

They had contact with the outsutski from a long time ago thr karma and the white karma I think was implemented by the uzumaki clan as hashiramas and tsunades byakugo seals was originally created by the uzumaki and the byakugo seal is exactly like a white karma same shape and all the only thing different is its a non-vessel mark meaning Chakra can be stored instead of a spirit of an outsutski it's the same as a white karma the only difference is the white karma passes on abilities etc without having to worry about being a vessel basically white karma is a cheated byakugo seal white karma gets the power instantly they just have to learn to use it . Where as the byakugo as it's running off ur Chakra and ur Chakra control it takes time to fill that seal with Chakra like Sakura Said she was training since a little bit before they 1ST seen saskue in shippuden all the way to the war arc so it took her some time and her Chakra control is the best in the hidden leaf
It's really weird that we don't learn much about the Uzamaki clan considering how closely linked they are to the main character. Kishimoto's obsession with the Uchiha ruined the series for me in a lot of ways.
Both the Uchiha wank and Boruto’s existence (including Kawaki) has made me review how I’ve seen and known of Naruto as s franchise lately. Lol
the story of boruto will surely end like naruto's... typically a plot where the protagonist saves the world or what so ever. It became boring to watch because it's just repeating the story of naruto using another characters. And the author's obsession of ocular jutsu feels like it became the highlight of naruto's and boruto's story that's why i stopped watching it.
Still gotta give him credit for his massive world of cannon and stories.

I think it was stated somewhere that their clan was raided by multiple nations who joined together to take them out. I read a short paragraph about what happened to the Uzumaki clan but I don’t remember where I found it. The fact that it took multiple nations to wipe them just proves how powerful the uzumakis were. It would have been nice if more had been known about them since it is the clan that our mc belongs too but them no longer existing kind makes sense bc all of the overly powerful clans were all completely wiped out for one reason or another (example: Otsutsuki and Uchiha).

I think Kushina explained to Naruto that Uzushio was wiped out by the combination force of Kirigakure and Kumogakure during the 3rd ninja war.
Otsutsuki is an alien bloodline that transitioned into the human Hyuga clan. They weren't wiped out

I've always been curious as to what happened to them too. I thought they were just raided during the wars but honestly there's no direct story yet so hopefully they'll come up with a great story!

Nope. Kishimoto probably didn't write the first part of Naruto. I think someone else wrote it. It was too well-thought-out. Maybe, his twin brother. And, after the timeskip he gave us too many excuses. So, I believe the: "I must be a one-dimensional writer. Make more eyes," is his downfall. He can't fathom a good script for such a thing. I don't think he knows how to make an outline.
There is confirmed lore on this during the second shinobi world war the Uzumaki had outed themsevles as a serious threat to any village other than Konoha their 1 ally so 3 hidden villages teamed up and umbushed the Uzumaki slaughtering most of them while they were off guard and in their homes kinda like the Uchiha massacre but with more casuallity on the invaders side than with the Uchiha massacre basically the Uzumaki clan was so powerful their Jounin could match S rank missing nin in power they had the most knowledge on sealing techniques and they had a debatable better kekegenkai than wood release that was just as rare as wood release the reason i say it better is cus Uzumaki can run seals through the chans for long distance sealing they can make a chain forest etc so they got slaughted because they were more powerful than even the Uchiha and Senju

I think originally the purpose of not having other Uzamaki’s around was just another way of pinpointing Naruto’s loneliness to the viewer. Then after getting asked a bunch of times by fans they came up with a story
Yeah, Kishimot was originally not going to show Naruto’s mom, until his wife told him he should.
Disagree, stories evolve over time. Otherwise, you could say the same thing about how Oda writes One Piece. He literally just retconned Luffy's devil fruit in the series and no one batted an eye. Came up with new haki techniques that we'd never seen before, no one complained.
But apparently Kishimoto coming up with the Uzumaki clan, was only in there because people asked him. Give me a break man, lol.

The reason the Uzumaki Clan where chosen to be the Jinshuriki is because of they had long longevity and strong physical capabilities and also they had the largest supply of chakra in the world out of every single clan in the world. They also possess the strongest sealing jutsus in the world the Hashirama Clan could seal the Jinshuriki and is strong but it still doesn’t compare to the Sealing techniques the Uzumaki used. They were just the most optimal candidates to be the Jinshuriki, in a way they were taken advantage of because they would live so long there wasn’t much of a need to choose another Jinshuriki in a longer period of time plus the other clans wouldn’t have to risk it

I think it was more that Hashirama didn't want to be (seen as) _too_ powerful, so didn't want to seal the Kyuubi in himself. Having his _wife_ be that powerful by his side though, means she could serve as both a continued bridge between the Uzumaki, as well as a deterrent against other foes, because she would back up her husband and new village. It's a savvy move; as long as she was alive and in such a prominent position as the First's wife, it assured reason for the two to continue to serve as strong allies. 💪🏾

Its because not every one can become the 9 tails jinchuriki because of the great chakra reserves and only the uzumaki clan could bear the physical burden and survive and also the life span is the highest so

It’s already been answered. Their was no civil war. The other Hidden Villages banded together out of fear of the Uzumaki Clan and their abilities with seals. Despite how strong the Uzumaki were, they couldn’t withstand the might of the joint forces of the other hidden villages.
As for the Hidden Leaf, they did send out reinforcements to aid the Uzumaki, but they arrived too late.

My guess is that the Leaf Village decided to turn a blind eye to the Uzumaki's destruction and only had great relations with the clan because they were incredibly strong. Their relation was more of a business one. Kushina described her clan to Naruto as having a savage side, which means even she understands her clan had a dark side. They very easily gave up Kushina to the Leaf to become a Jinchuriki without her agreeing to do so. I don't think the Uzumaki were very wholesome, hence the "savage" line from Kushina. The other villages saw them as a very obvious threat. They had the power to casually summon the a god of death and seal even the strongest tailed beasts. The villages (not including the Leaf) put their own conflict aside to team up against the Uzumaki. Maybe the Leaf understood of this team up plan and stayed out of it because they low key saw the clan as volatile and didn't care if they got eliminated. Hashirama was most likely already dead by the time of their downfall and knowing him he would definitely back them up and try to argue for peace. He was the same guy who tried to gift the other Nations all his tailed beasts.

What if Madara or hashirama destroyed the Uzumaki clan and then Obito and Itachi wiped out the Uchiha.
It seems that Orochimaru did plenty of research on the Uzumaki Clan so the fact that he was able to find the masked Shrine and was able to call upon the death seal shows that some people still new Uzumaki secrets so it's sad that Naruto wasn't gifted the sealing Jutsu that his father had but that's the story so unfortunately unless they write some more books I guess we'll never know.

@@Vhein what they meant is something like Kushina's chains. I honestly want to see it use effectively in battle & not just to lock/seal a tailed beast or anyone. I saw how Karin used the chains. But that was weak & was used poorly. Given how Naruto always comes up with something new, I thought maybe Naruto could've used it when Pain used shinra tensei against Naruto for their final fight. Instead of Naruto clones throwing Naruto, Naruto could've used the chains to hold and/or throw himself. Imagine having chains + flying thundergod technique under Naruto's belt. Imagine Naruto teleporting them striking someone's back with chains or Naruto clones surrounding a bunch of enemies & teleporting behind them striking all of them with chains. If Jiraiya trained Naruto for those techniques & we saw Naruto reinventing his parents' techniques while learning Rasengan by working hard & not giving up, people would not have been hating on Naruto relying to Kurama. Even better, Naruto could've asked Ibiki to teach him genjutsu-related sealing techniques (chains & Kurama inside a genjutsu) since Ibiki developed a liking of Naruto as a genin.
@@thejomarifernandez7554 the chains being part of the Uzumaki bloodline means Jiraiya couldn't have taught Naruto about the chains only another Uzumaki could. Also Jiraiya already went on to explain Genjutsu wasn't for Naruto as it needed specific traits that Naruto didn't possess.

I think they're more badazz than Uchiha and Senju.
They have so much potential, just look at Nagato alone wielding Rinnegan.
Their chakra can compete with tailed beasts, their body is strong to contain Kyubi.
They're expert fuinjutsu users.
Fuinjutsu is the most overpowered technique,
it can seal movements as seen on Danzo paralyzing Sasuke.
It also can create cursed seal and turn you into sage chakra sucking machine,
can make teleportation,
can seal chakra especially Tailed beasts,
can seal Otsutsuki,
can create Barriers,
can create traps,
can seal Amaterasu like Jiraya did,
make Byakugo seal,
and also seal edo tensei,
and summon a Shinigami.
It probably can seal Susanoo and eye jutsu as well.
In theory you can also program a seal to react to genjutsu to disrupt it and be immune to it.
And that's why they had to be dead.

The point is, a non-uchiha body wielding sharingan is already straining the body due to compatibility, what more with mangekyo, and even more with Rinnegan, even more using it at high level.
If I were to rewrite Naruto, before the time skip after Naruto and Sasuke fought, I’d extend part 1 by 2 or so arcs explaining Naruto’s clan and having him show interest in it, and maybe give side characters stuff to do that isn’t filler

My theory was that a young Danzo was involved in the destruction of the Uzumaki Clan(i left my comment on a previous video). I can see Danzo manipulating an already hectic situation to insure both parties of the civil war annihilate each other. I can't picture the 1st Hokage betraying the Uzumaki Clan. Seems he would try to strengthen the bonds as opposed to destroying them...but ion kno...thanks for all this good info to ponder on yo...frfr thanks
it wouldve been a great villain development for danzo as well.. being as manipulative and tracherous, he wouldve probably thought it was a great idea for all the villlages to get in conflict with one another ---depleting their strength-- thus an upperhand for konoha who was neutral at that point
Yeah that’s why I think the clan met their demise during the 3rd shinobi world war. Hiruzen was the hokage at that point and I see Danzo manipulating and scheming his way into having the Village elders agreeing with him to not help the Uzumaki clan since they fighting also at the time.
Hashirama would have not slaughtered the clan of his wife. It’s also not in his nature to wage violence. He has been fighting a war his whole life. He always wanted peace and even went to extreme lengths of collecting Tailed Beasts to give other villages in order to create a balance of power.

@@supercal3944 Hyuga is also from Osotsuki lineage. One of the strongest clans in Konohagakure and known for their defensive abilities. The Sarutobi Clan was also strong, enough to be awed and respected by both Hashirama and Madara.

I speculate it's more of a vindictive streak against most of the Shinobi world,since Hashirama put them on the map after using their sealing arts to capture the tailed beasts & giving them to the other villages to promote peace. So the only known weakness to the tailed beasts would be the Senju brothers & the Uzumaki ( putting a target on the back of every Uzumaki hence forth)
Honestly. Their Hot Tempers definitely makes sense. However, I think like the Uchiha clan, they also feel incredibly deeply than others possibly on par with the Uchiha and thats what drives them.
Because of this, it makes even more sense why Naruto was so driven to prove himself and save Sasuke from the darkness in his heart.

I think a lot of the stories in Naruto reflects how savage the Japanese's warring states period was. Bigger clans would constantly destroy other smaller clans. For some of these clans to survive they created alliances. Otherwise they would be enslaved or totally wiped out.
To answer some questions and I know this will sound cruel. Jinchuriki are never loved, but instead hated and feared. They have a beast inside them that could break free if the seal is ever broken. The Senju Clan might have liked the idea of it being an Uzumaki who was hated and feared instead of them.

I never thought I would say something like this after 2 years of dropping Naruto but I think I wanna rewatch it all over again because there're things like this that makes me even more interested in the story and the secrets behind it.
Like I always watch any anime for the first time because it got my interest or it just look cool so I give it a chance but always for the second time I'm seeing things that I didn't in the past and it's making it even more enjoyable then before.. sorry I got carried away a little.
However -> I dropped it when I was missing only 70 episodes to 720 (I'm counting naruto and naruto:shippuden together as a one) because I was really tired of fillers that didn't have nothing in common with the original story.. :D

Is it possible there could've been other survivors of the Uzumaki clan? Naruto, Nagato and Karin managed to survive this long, even though Nagato died before the fourth war began. Could there have been survivors that have remained in hiding?
I have a huge feeling there are more survivors. What if in Boruto we find out that they're planning a plot to take revenge on the leaf for betraying/not helping them when they were attacked. Or what if we get to meet one of naruto's grandparent/s...that would be so epic.
Any survivors would end up being slave or kidnapped just like Karin. Who once sold and used by ninja as medicine, everyone would bite her without consent just to recover and continue their war. Well they bought Karin for that and some of the Uzumaki could have ended that way as well.

Ha. I hadn't thought about this before. I thought the whole Leafe village is a part of the Uzumaki clan but I was wrong. It was a separate clan and had a separate nation.

As you said the sealing techniques were and still greatly feared. The Uzumaki clan excelled at that. Hell orochimaru was trying his hardest to prevent the reaper death seal because he knew what it did and was scared of it. Karin also excelled at being a sensory type of ninja. So maybe other Uzumaki members excelled at it to. But that's a theory. Civil War is a great explanation and the damage of the Uzumaki village shows how powerful (badass) that clan was. Nagato was powerful because of the rinnegan implanted into him by Madara. That is how he had all those cool unique abilities he used. Kuchina helped with controling nine tails which alone makes us realize how powerful she is. Naruto carried on the legacy and trained as hard as he could and I think he deserves the name Uzumaki.
The fact that we get next to nothing on the MAIN characters clan was a let down. They had potential to be on par with the senju and uchiha.
they are more powerful than senju and uchiha despite their smaller number because it took 3 villages to destroy them , and I think uzushio were more powerful than konoha because they must have another clan beside uzumaki

I have alway hoped that they make an arc where Naruto goes on a journey with Himawari to the Uzumaki village. I also believe that Himawari has great potential to be jinchuriki, primarily of the 2 tailed beast since she did tame and helped that wolf, she definitely has what it takes. Not only that but it would pair nicely with her making a journey with Naruto where she learns sealing jutsu and how to control her tailed beast.
Its just she is so much untapped potential for great story telling imo.

I'm pretty sure that Mito becoming a jinchuriki was completely unplanned. Their marriage was purely political between their clans. She and Hashirama needed to deal with Kurama after Madara's defeat at the Valley of the End. They just had very limited choices and just as little time to do it.
And I'm not sure if it was canon or not, but I read somewhere that they were wiped out by a coalition of enemy villages around the end of the Second War and Konoha was just unable to help them in time, but don't quote me on that. Could've just been Danzo sabotaging any attempt to help them. Seems like the sort of thing he'd do.
the uzumaki clan is my favorit clan in the whole naruto verse, they had so many strong jutsus and that are just the ones we know, i bet there are hundreds of even more savage jutsus considering the fact that they had unnormal amounts of chakra. its really sad that such a clan got so little screen time, just imagin how much lore there could have been discovered. imo the uzumaki clan is one of the or is the superior clan out there and cuz of the unclear backstory it is so likely that there are still hundreds of uzumaki out there, they dont got slaughtered like the uchiha so there is a pretty high chance that there are suvivors. i really hope that some uzumaki's getr intruduced in boruto cuz the potential is just to big to just let them be history

Because all of these characteristics appeared to be mixed in Naruto's personality such as being savage; letting attacks land on him or even said to break Sasuke's bones to bring him back, doesn't give up and etc. So maybe the kind and reasonable personalities of Naruto is from his dad instead.

I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see a small village of Uzumaki Clan members that fled the destruction before it all went down because they could see the writing on the wall. Boruto could definitely do this. Those sealing techniques would be helpful against an Otsutsuki invasion.

It was greatly inferred if you pay attention who fought during the beginning years of the 3rs great ninja war. It was Hidden Sand, Leaf and allies vs Stone, Cloud, and Mist and their allies. The start of the war began when the Uzumaki was destroyed by the Stone, Cloud, and Mist. The leaf ninja wear the crest of the Uzumaki on their uniforms to honor their fallen clan.

@Sanchit Gupta Hashirama and Tobirama would have supported Uzumaki clan, you are right, but only under this condition, that Hashirama would've been alive, but without him in this equation, Tobirama, yes, is powerful, but is nowhere his brothers level, reputation, and the other countries, i suppose, felt that and so the balance of power was disputed than ever. Maybe Tobirama was invested with a"legacy"(his brother political wins) too heavy, even for a great shinobi and tactician like him.

So I think one issue with this explanation is that you think the first or second hokage could been jinchuriki, they could not. Uzumaki inherited the "Soul" and the Senju inherited the "body". This is the reason Uzumaki have such high chakra but do not have naturally more durable bodies like the Senju and vice versa. Naurto was a half breed Uzumaki he naturally had about half the gift of chakra compared to other members of his clan. The Jinchuriki has so suppress the 9 tails with their own chakra. Naurto can only function like a normal person because of his bloodline limit a normal person would not be able to resist the 9 tails. Making them into a Jinchuriki would best case scenario make them immobile and in most cases result in death.

I wish they spent more time with Naruto exploring his roots. I think him being born an orphan would make him dig up about his parents, try to contact close relatives, uncover Uzumaki and Namikaze clans etc.
It would make an epic arc since he still has room for improvement and would be a better alternative of going strong instead of the lazy writing of just giving him more chakra with kurama with every jutsu is just a different color and bigger.
So much untap potential for this anime and instead they made Boruto and now every villain is a god and we don't know how much worst the power scaling would be.
I think Uzumaki destroyed after Mito transfer Kurama into Kushina, so it's Hiruzen period as a Hokage, and I liked to think Danzo or Zetsu have a hand on Uzumaki and Senju destruction, because he didn't want a threat inside or outside konoha liked with Uchiha too.

Naruto Shippuden plot truly is interesting. Aside from characters, clans and villages, looking back to Shinobi history truly is fascinating. Knowing how the world was cruel, came to the control of kaguya, her kids sealing her, and a so ongoing war between nations and clans, then again, coming towards naruto and other characters' stories. It's obviously a beautiful and unique anime, and when ending it is just quite sad revolving and having emotions towards it. Naruto truly is my top 3 favorite anime and might also be my number 1.
It makes sense to have the Hokage and Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi be seperate though.
As you said, Hashirama could beat the 9 tails, so this way, they always had both the 9 tails as a weapon, and someone who could defeat it. In the event that something happened, a senju could stop the Kyuubi. But if a Senju _was_ the jinchuuriki. Then an enemy could take 2 important pieces off the board in one move.

It all comes down to being seen as a Potential Threat. Having the hidden Leaf fully integrate the uzumakis would have made them the most powerful clan in the world bar none. That would have led to the other clans creating an alliance to destroy them out of fear that the hidden Leaf might turn towards world domination or something equally as undesirable. Thr Uzumaki clan was powerful enough by themselves that they were already seen as a threat so at the first available opportunity they were removed from the equation. Pretty much what was going to happen to the uchihas no matter what because even if Madara hadn't had his revenge plan the hidden leaf saw them as a threat and was planning on wiping them out themselves. Basically the whole show was about Clans constantly warring to maintain the balance of power. Anyone who became too powerful was a Target and everyone was trying to become too powerful.

The uzumakis sealing jutsus are still archived somewhere in konoha. Im pretty sure the hokages have access to them and can learn them when its necesssary, but many may not have used it because either they wernt able to figure it out or they never had the time to master it like minato did.
