Ardnamurchan celebrates their 10th birthday this year and it's been amazing to watch their evolution as well as the number of awards they've been racking up (Craft Producer of the Year, Sustainable Distillery of the Year, Visitor Attraction Team of the Year, Sales Team of the Year... the list can go on and on, and we've not even started to mention the various well deserved awards their whiskies receive!)
As an independent bottler we here at Single Cask Nation are thankful for Ardnamurchan's collaborative nature. They, too, started off as independent bottlers with their rage of Adelphi Selections bottlings. They get us. We get them.

In the cheese industry it's well worth trying to support dairies that find their magical set of conditions that age cheese over long periods to maximum balanced complexity. But whenever a cheese is offered to the market that reaches its maturation before the established legends and has less complexity, no one is marketing it as having comparable value. In whiskey, this is exactly what is happening and while we want to encourage the promotion of the whiskeys whenever they reach their maximum maturity, it is up to the community of passionate consumers to educate each other without excluding anyone by being very transparent about the information so anyone can search it out and go down their respective rabbit hole.
